Palm Garden Hotel is in a very good location for those of us who did not rent a car, although there is guest parking. Our room was clean, and it had a fully stocked kitchenette, with a sink, stove, fridge, microwave... The beach is literally a block away. Bring your snorkel and you can see sea turtles, a short distance from the shore (please don't touch them). There is a plaza right near the hotel that has food kiosks (almost like food trucks) that offer a variety of cultural cuisines. They have music playing there during the weekends. There are many restaurants nearby and Oistin's has a very popular Fish Fry every Friday. We traveled by minivan taxis, that you just hail down along the road, at $3.50 Bajan money, per person.
Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Historic Bridgetown & Garrison Area, this family-run beachfront hotel features an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent -next door to a mini mart, ATM, Burger King and KFC. The beach was a short walk as were many other dining options. The pool on the property was clean and well maintained. The grounds were nice -trees, plants and some shade. The balcony we had overlooked the pool. This was our favorite place to stay in Barbados. Would definitely recommend.

Lanterns mall was decent with a variety of stores but most were closed. I had delivered from seven oh 11, not very good, food was extremely spicy. I would reccommend maybe staying in a different location from worthing, Christ Church.

We were really disappointed to see that the Waterfront was all boarded up and were informed that there was a regeneration plan for this area. We hope that it will be done for when we return.
It gets very hot in town so a quick dash to shops and then back to the beach. Could do with some more fun shops and not just duty free stores.
Also some nice restaurants would be beneficial.

Ate in a gorgeous beachfront restaurant about 10 min walk from resort.
Easy to get around on foot. Town centre is very small. Not much to see historically. Parliament building wasn't sign posted.
Beaches were nice.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price.
Good hotel charging a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good location. Short walk from many amenities. The room had everything required. It was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a shame the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked.
I am not sure if we got the same room we booked. There were rooms with balcony but we were given one without a balcony. My husband said he visited there before and it was a much better place. We were told that the place had new owners, so that could be the difference. We did enjoy having breakfast close to the beach which was the highlight of our visit. The water at the beach was a little rough during our stay, but it was a pretty site to watch the boats go out on the water. It was easy to get around. I did go to the market place where I purchased some fruits, bread and souvenirs, but I don't think we would return there anytime soon.

Barbadians are one of the most warm and friendly , homely people. They quickly help you to forget you are a tourist more of a royalty. So willing to help. Love to be able to just have transport from Worthing and the hotel strips to go anywhere. You feel safe, but still always be on your guard in any country you visit.
Arrived late at night and got a warm welcome and quick check in. The hotel is well situated, both in terms of being right on the beach and near the Garrison Savannah historic area if you like to explore a bit. It felt safe too. Seems to be different things happening in the communal areas every day and night, and the bar / restuarent over the road allows you to charge meals and drinks to your room. The rooms are spacious and the upper floors have a great view down onto the beach.
The hotel itself is lovely the rooms are really spacious. The location is not the best in terms of wanting to go out on the nights as it’s around 6 miles from the main strip / bars / restaurants! There is however a tiki bus if you walk around half a mile to the main road which will take you to the livelier spots for around 4 dollers. Taxis were around 30 us dollers for the same route. The beach at the hotel was lovely and the beach out the front of the hotel was exceptional !
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The bistro (same management) on the beach is good. It’s in a lovely quiet spot between the acres of pay-for sunliungers nearer town and the big hotels at the S end of the bay. It’s an easy swim from the beach to the wrecks that are mobbed with tours from about 10am. The rooms are basic but everything works. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the middle of Bridgetown. Go along the beach, the road is busy and foot way often blocked.
I tried to book a one night room directly through the hotel and was told they were all full, no rooms available. Later like 5 minutes I tried to book through an outside vendor like travelosity and they had rooms. When we arrived it seemed like the hotel was no where full. Same price, no reason to deny us, we liked it as it was clean and a close ride from the airport.
I will defiantly share my experience, with others. make sure all fixture in rooms works, the room is spotless and what has been promoted online, all users see and receive as standard practice on arrival. if you are going to stay at the blue horizon hotel it is not the best but the location to local beaches and entertainment is good.
The location is ideal and right in the heart of downtown Bridgetown. Everything is within walking distance including a supermarket, clothing stores, and a restaurant right in front. The host was very nice and welcomed me upon my arrival. The A/C worked really well and the building was quiet. My stay was for 3 days from 5-8 Aug.
Lovely quiet boutique hotel. Lots of peacocks roaming around which added to the atmosphere. Laid back with nothing rushed. Lovely room with swinging day bed on the terrace (we had the Hummingbird room). Good food and friendly staff. We had complimentary yoga at sunset on the terrace which was a nice added extra
Great location, mid way between Bridgetown and airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right on almost a private beach, and a beautiful palm tree outlook. Well stocked kitchenette and good supermarkets nearby.
Rooms large and welcoming. Would stay again in preference to any other Barbados hotel.
Good for short stays.
- The location was great with supermarkets, restaurants and the beach just a few steps away. Also very well connected to reach Bridgetown.
- The accommodation was very spacious and had all the basics you need: well-equipped kitchen, balcony, dining room.
I can Not say enough about my stay here ! All staff are friendly ! The location is perfect to all other destinations you want to travel throughout the island by foot or vehicle. Plenty of bars adjacent to hotel to cool down. Markets walking distance.
We did not stay at this hotel. There are 8 hotels in the same collective. This one was full even though I had a confirmed reservation. They moved me to another hotel which I'm sure was as good.
The view was amazing! Clean sparkling waters, which reflected the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The facility was also well kept. The hotel was also easily accessible.
