Location is perfect! We could walk into town for shopping, dining, and the ferry terminal. Miles market is very close by for snacks, lunch and to go items, etc., which enabled us to get some to go items for lunch by the pool.
Staff is beyond exceptional from Homer at our check-in, to the lovely gentlemen greeting us at breakfast every morning, they made us feel welcome and at home.
Pool is nice. Veranda outside room was fabulous for first cup of tea in the morning to last cup of tea in the evening.
Having a tea kettle and fridge was awesome.

We were delightfully surprised by our last-minute accommodation at the Oxford House. We unexpectedly had to stay another night in Bermuda (oh darn, right?) and the staff could not have been more welcoming, and the bed extremely comfortable. We appreciated the cozy conditions and assistance from staff throughout.

Part of the hotel is renovated and I initially had a not renovated room. I couldn't open the windows of the room. When I complained I got a different room looking more towards the street and air conditioning engines which were loud during the night. At 699 $ the night totally below expectations!

Plenty of places to eat on the front. Selection of expensive and touristy shops. Bus terminal for buses to take you all over the island. Ferry terminal to take you to Dockyard and on to St. George's.

I booked this hotel because of their beach, and I was right!
I booked this hotel because of their beach, and I was right! The beach is absolutely fantastic.I would add a ferry between both Fairmont hotels, and maybe a couple of ferries from the hotel marina around Bermuda, but i would be just a little cherry on the icing on the perfect cake

Too many changes since years ago.
Too many changes since years ago.
Not to the benefit of friendly locals.
With the wealth of foreign investment, local business appears non-existent now too commercialised and rent for locals is sky-high.

The island is extremely expensive especially if you are visiting from America. A appetizer cost between 12-16 dollars and everything goes up from there. The locals are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Due to the dockyard the island is geared more towards tourists then its own people. I’d say this island is definitely for family vacation or business purposes only.
Location was fabulous. I could walk to all the sites in Hamilton . Fort Hamilton a nice walk 12 minutes or so.
As a solo traveler 🧳 I, aon the area.Tata & Rachel were always kind to me & answered my questions.
I learned where the Bus stations was & was able to easily go to St. George. They ( Tata & Rachel ) were very nice to call ☎️ for my occasional cab 🚕.
I enjoyed the breakfast 🥞 & it was a nice touch for the snacks & wine 🍷 a 5:00PM
The epitome of hospitality. The ladies I met during my checking and check out both were great and made me feel really welcomed .
The location is convenient and the breakfast is an experience as you can make your own waffle and plenty of choices plus a great coffee.
Royal Palms holds that special ambience that its hard to find these days .
If you look for personalized service, it's the perfect place in Hamilton.
Staff, location, property. The staff was what made the stay at Oxford House exceptional; they are friendly, attentive, and they above and beyond to accommodate guests. The location is a close second, as it's on the border of Hamilton yet it's very quiet, making it easy to get to shops and restaurants on foot. The property itself is beautiful and clean, a boutique hotel that offers unique rooms.
Each room has unique decor and very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet in covered terrace. Great menu selection in main dining room. Daily managers reception. Great location with 5-10minute walk to Front St. Employees made sure our stay was great. They are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about area. The hotel has a great ambience.
In a great location for the Railway Trail, Shelly Beach and seeing fabulous sunsets. A short ride to Hamilton and St Georges. It had everything I needed for my 15 day stay. The owners are very helpful and great hosts. They put me in touch with Jimmy the taxi driver who is extremely reliable and an excellent driver
The hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We could not have wished for a nicer stay at this hotel. I would definitely go back - if I visited Bermuda again. Only a short walk (10 minutes) from Hamilton
Great value. Apartments are huge. They provided a beach bag with towels and you could take an umbrella
Tip: make sure you have a way to get around the island - get bus tokens (or coins in local currency) or rent a scooter.
Nice bar and restaurant. Friendly service. Good atmosphere and ambience in the hotel. I had a modern rooms. UNless you have the expensive internet solution (or a better room than I had) internet is slow.
Everything about the Hamilton Princess was exceptional. The people were amazing. Bermuda is beautiful and the people were very friendly. We had a great time and hope to return soon.
