I was really just in and out (quick trip to see the eclipse). This was a great hotel and one where a person, couple or family could have a mini vacation, with pool, good restaurants on-site, room service, etc. It's also well appointed for conferences (and one would assume for wedding receptions). The Steakhouse would be great for 'special' evenings and the Denny's is very good (service, food, prices) for families.

Oakville is very clean, it has a lot of higher end shopping and restaurants. Well taken care of by the city pu lic works. seems to be more established and settled with long time residents and neighborhoods. Has a smaller city vibe.

Did not see much of Oakville.

Did not see much of Oakville. Was just here for a couple of hockey games. We stayed in the Monte Carlo Inn on the south side near Ford Plant. Not a pleasant location as it was in an industrial area with large decrepit undeveloped industrial property beside us and nothing within walking distance.

I was unhappy that housekeeping is not done everyday or every other day, yet I understand the logic behind this, also we traveled far and was just to be told you guys don't take cash and wouldn't return as I cash is a legal tender and not everyone owns a credit card or has one

We were at a conference during our stay so we didn't get to do much in Oakville. I used to live in Toronto and would visit Oakville frequently, especially downtown on the Lakeshore. I was amazed at all the buildings on Dundas! Next time I plan to visit downtown and some of the restaurants that I remember, if they are still there.

Given the price, my bf and I weren’t expecting much but it surprised us. The room was spacious, it is better than a lot of hotels we’ve stayed at when taking weekend vacations. Better than The Chelsea Hotel from downtown Toronto. The room was clean, has a microwave, has a fridge, a mini living room, a hairdryer than actually works. We also got a sufficient breakfast consisting of lactose free yogurt (how considerate), a chewy bar, a muffin, juice, and an apple. Will stay again!

Very good value! I was in the area for work and was by myself, the hotels were so expensive so this was a great options for me. It was easy to find and in a good neighbourhood, the owner messaged me beforehand and gave me clear instruction to get in. There was water in my room and towels and the owner showed me around and how to use the lights and tv etc. and there was a lock in my door and I felt safe.

The hotel was very easy to access. The room was large and clean. The common areas felt new and fresh and looked very clean. We used the fitness room and it had what was necessary for a short workout. The breakfast room was sufficiently large and had a good selection for breakfast. Check-in and -out were efficient.
