We were in town for a wedding at the Pelee winery. The home no longer provides breakfast, however there is a good supply of coffee or tea to start your day.
Location to the winery and the town was perfect, even walking distance to the wedding venue.

I had never been to Leamington before.
I had never been to Leamington before. We went because we had been to Niagara on the Lake and Prince Edward County to tour wineries but never Pelee Island area. Chose this location as room is close (10 minute drive) to port where you can catch the ferry to the Island. We went on Oct 3 which is their off season. Not much to see on the Island and the ferry ride out, while peaceful 1.5 hours, didn't give you much to look at (no scenery, islands, coastal views). Once on the Island, there isn't much as there are only two wineries and one was closed for the season. If you hike or bike, it may be worth the trip to the Island but my husband and I had better time touring the 15 wineries on the mainland. Smaller wineries with really good wine that's not sold at LCBO (government controlled liquor store). We stocked up for Christmas gifts. Tastings are not free but most will give you credit back on the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle of wine.

Leamington is the kind of place that has a small town, homey, and inviting feeling while having lots of great restaurants and amenities. I think that it is often overlooked by some travelers, but trust me, if you make proper use of your time and explore all it has to offer you will find Leamington a wonderful getaway.

Leamington has a pleasant harbor front to walk around especially in sunny weather. But the most pleasant part is Point Pelee National Park, it's really worth the 3.5 hours drive to Leamington from Toronto. The Marsh Boardwalk is very serene and the trip to the Tip is a must.
If it wasn't for Point Pelee National Park, there's not much to visit around Leamington, in my opinion.

Point of disclosure.
Point of disclosure. Leamington is actually my hometown but I moved away over 25 years ago and come back for visits. I LOVE the marina---great place for walks (kids have a great playground nearby). Everyone is friendly and willing to chat for a little bit (I don't get that where I live now). Colasantis never disappoints (petting zoo, lots of amazing plants, and lets not forget the delicious broasted chicken, that yummy peach drink that really does taste like you are drinking a peach! and of course those addictive cinnamon yeast donuts). Farmer's stands all over Leamington means that you get great fresh produce to take back. The Dock has a great beach and plenty of places to find shade from the warm sun!

Close enough to Essex County wineries and restaurants.
Close enough to Essex County wineries and restaurants. Kingsville is the place to be as it is more central for wine tasting and access to Pelée Island in the late summer and early fall. Pelée Island is a gem.
We were only passing through and needed a place to stay the night. The staff were very kind, the breakfast was far more than expected, fresh and very good, the whole hotel was newly renovated and very clean it was the most comfortable Days Inn I have ever stayed in and I would stay again. And I am very fussy.
Location near beach, park and splash pad. Interior nicely decorated, very clean, more than what you need - just in case you need it! Perfecf for families. The entire space was well thought out. Fire pit that does not leave you smelling like a campfire.
Room clean and spacious. Manager seemed nice, personable. Central to everything we wanted. Quiet and comfortable. My wife was obliged to attend a Zoom meeting one evening, and the WiFi was good enough to manage it.
Very good, considering some of the pandemic restrictions in place that the hotel could not change. Pretty good location if you are visiting Point Pelee National Park and doing a wine tour of the region.
The host is very nice and available for every need. The room was extremely clean with a great attention to details.
The position is great, you can easily reach both downtown Leamington and Kingsville.
loved the location in Leamington, close to the park and walkable to a few places. nice living room and kitchen area and pots/pans, coffee maker and a few common essentials were available too!
The manager and the staff go above and beyond to ensure your safety in the hotel amd they are refreshingly polite. I will definitely book again . Thank you Days inn Leamington
The location is great with ample parking and a sitting area in front of your room. I would classify this hotel almost to give you the small town motel/cottage feeling.
Room was exceptionally clean and close to all amenities in Leamington. Quiet area for a good nights sleep. I would highly recommend it for anyone to stay
