A good budget place for 2-3 nights stay in the country side, a good base for exploring the mountains - about 45 min drive from Stechelberg and Grindenwald, 10min from Brienz. A restaurant on site with hearty Swiss food (rosti and desserts were delicious) at good prices where locals eat - it gets booked up so best to book on the weekend (you can have the food also in the apartment if it's full). The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We didn't try breakfast as the dinner plates were huge. The heaters were on when we arrived. A nice Jura coffee machine prefilled with beans.

Everything was great. We all had great time. It someone is travelling with family to this location for a holiday, this would be the best holiday home to look for booking. Farm animals - horses, ponies, roosters' family 🐓🐔, kids play area, restaurant attached to the house, self cooking capabilities, entertainment facilities, last bit not least marvelous valley view, surrounded by snow capped mountains. The hospitality has been great. Many thanks to the host for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

This was my second visit to Eichhof and it did not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chalet is well equipped and comfortable. The rooms and bathroom are clean and tidy. The farm is spectacular with great views.

Very warm welcome from the stuff, we spent a lovely weekend with the kids who could also go for a walk with the horses. The apartment was clean a warm when we arrived. Perfect. Top coffee machine in the apartment which was highly appreciated. We will come back.

Der beste Ort, an dem wir je übernachtet haben. Unglaublich gastfreundliche Gastgeber, gemütliches und warmes Haus mit allem, was wir von der Kaffeemaschine mit Bohnen zu Handtüchern, Papierservietten, Seife benötigt. Es gab Heizung in jedem Zimmer und sogar in der Toilette. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Es gibt Kinderschaukeln, eine Rutsche, und Pferde auf dem Grundstück. Die Lage ist unglaublich schön und ruhig, mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Berge und Wiesen. Wir haben auch das Essen im örtlichen Restaurant probiert und es war köstlich. Da wir am Weihnachtstag waren, haben uns die Besitzer eine Schachtel Pralinen und einen Tannenzweig mit Kerzen 😍🎄 geschenkt. Das war so rührend und nett. Das ist der Ort, wo der Preis der Qualität entspricht. Ich empfehle diesen Ort jedem und würde gerne wieder hingehen.
