Our Châlet, "La Providence" is situated in the heart of the international ski resort "Les Portes du Soleil" at 1400mtr above sea level on the Franco-Swiss border in the canton of the Valais. Our Châlet has been completely renovated And is composed of two appartements. A 5 bedroom on the top two floors And a 2 bedroom on the first floor. The ground floor consists of a ski room And laundry room which are shared. We are also very central, a 3 min walk to the main chair lift And just over the road from a small supermarket.
I'm Australian, and have been living in Switzerland for the part 25 years, am married with 2 children, we live in Troistorrents, which is 10 mins drive down the Mountain from Morgins, so we will always be at atainable if and when our guests need us.
Morgins is reputed for being a family orientated ski resort with its direct access to 650km of ski pistes. Our châlet is close to cafés, restaurants, a bakery/tea-room as well as a supermarket where one can find local produits in amongst the "indispensables". Morgins has its own sports center with tennis courts, swimming pool And récréational areas. There is also a local horse stable. During the winter months, there is an open air ice-skating rink. There is 3 double traced nordique skiing tracks, totaling a lenght of 20km that take you through beautifull landscapes and forests next to a peaceful river.
