Welcome to our cozy, traditional chalet (aka mayen), freshly updated. Located in the middle of nature, the chalet is situated in the mountains at an elevation of 1500 meters, above the small village of Sarreyer in the Val de Bagnes. It's a quiet place with great views of the mountains. It's perfect for people looking to relax. In winter, you can ski and snowshoe right here. In summer, it's great for walks and mountain biking. Plus, we have a big terrace where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the sun. On the ground floor of the chalet, you'll find a cozy living room with a traditional soapstone stove, an open kitchen, and a dining area. The three bedrooms and a shower-room are upstairs. The kitchen has everything you need: a dishwasher, fridge, oven, and induction stove. Plus, we've got a fondue and raclette set for you to enjoy. The chalet sleeps up to six people. There’s a double bed in the first bedroom, a double bunk bed with a single bed on top in the second, and a single bunk bed in the third, small bedroom. Outside, there’s a big, nice terrace with a large stone table facing south for a stunning view, with a barbecue, perfect for grilling while enjoying the view of the 4,000m peaks. Our chalet is off-grid, powered by 16 solar panels with batteries (in winter, you might need to clear snow off the panels). We get our water from a nearby source, shower water is heated by a heat pump. Wifi is available too. Please note: In winter, getting to the chalet is usually on foot/snowshoes or ski touring from above Sarreyer village. It’s a nice uphill walk, about 200m ascent, taking around 45 minutes (keep this in mind when booking). However, in recent years, it has become more common to reach higher up, though this can vary week by week. We provide coffee, tea, and basic cooking supplies (oil, spices, etc.), as well as soap and toilet paper. Towels and food are not included. We have a baby bed and high chair available on request.

Our chalet, located in the Val de Bagnes, is set in a peaceful and sunny spot, offering an incredible view and absolute tranquility. It is accessible by car from spring to autumn (with onsite parking). In winter, the access road is not cleared of snow, but a beautiful uphill walk from the village of Sarreyer will lead you there. From spring to autumn, the chalet is just a 7-minute drive from the village of Sarreyer and 20 minutes from Verbier and all its facilities, via the Route du Soleil (open from the end of April). It's a walker’s and mountain biker’s paradise in the summer, located along or near several beautiful trails. You can bike down to the Châble cable car, then up to Ruinettes and over to La Chaux, and finally bike back down to the chalet. This guarantees you several kilometers of beautiful downhill riding in a day, all on magnificent trails! In winter, the road to Verbier is closed. Access to the Verbier ski area can be made from the chalet, about 45 minutes by snowshoes or ski touring, or by driving down to Le Châble. The chalet is also accessible by skiing down from La Chaux, depending on snow conditions. For nature lovers, numerous walks and snowshoe/ski touring routes are available starting from the chalet and in the surrounding area. We'll gladly send you some recommendations.
