The hotel is located in Lishi Hutong, Dongcheng District, central Beijing.In the Ming Dynasty, this area belonged to Sichengfang and was called Lushi Hutong. During the Xuantong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Lishi Hutong.The home of Prime Minister Liu Luoguo (Liu Yong) is in this alley.There are many large mansions in the hutong. The former residence of Jingxin, a scholar of the Qing Dynasty, and the official residence of Binjun, the prefect of Wuchang in the late Qing Dynasty, are also in this hutong.
