We visited for the Limassol marathon running weekend.
We visited for the Limassol marathon running weekend. We have attended this event many times and always stayed in a hotel. This time we stayed in a house which was a much nicer experience. We also got to see a different area of the city which was really nice. We had a very nice lunch at Juego where they have a lovely courtyard restaurant and bar with lots of umbrellas hanging to keep you cool

Not a bad city, but definitely not one of my favorites.
Not a bad city, but definitely not one of my favorites. One must not have high expectations and I think 1-2 days are enough for a visit. What I really liked was the local zoo, albeit small, and the archaeological sites. This is a city of the "rich", there are nice places, but there is still room for improvement.

Limassol is very car friendly and not at all pedestrian friendly. Missing traffic lights for pedestrians and in a lot of spaces even missing a side walk at all. Even if a side walk exists it is blocked by parking cars.
Everywhere you look you see construction sites for new buildings when on the other hand a lot of old buildings are run down and even half destroyed.
The city is very dirty and loud because of all the traffic.

We came to Limassol as a part of a trip to Greece and regret coming here. The city was pretty mediocre compared to Greek cities and towns. The locals were not as friendly and it was very difficult to get around. The buses are extremely confusing and can be very infrequent depending on where you want to go. If you want to go see any historical sights this town is not the place to go. I also did not feel overly safe walking around. I would say go to a different city.
There was nothing about this hotel that went well it was tired the rooms were filthy the bath was black inside the windows in the lobby were disgustingly dirty the pool area was tired and messy if I had had a chance I would’ve left and slept on the beach it was a huge mistake and not worth €70 a night don’t really understand why you have it on your listings there was a strong smell of cheap disinfectant to run throughout the whole hotel that made me cough and choke all night
For sure one of the best hotels in Cyprus! All staff from cleaners to receptionists and other staff extremely polite they up graded my room to sea view and they sent me drinks and a birthday cake! Breakfast was enormous offering continental food did not know what to choose first they even served Cypriot cofffee not very common in other hotels Christmas decorations was beautiful will come back for sure to try their restaurants! Supreme experience overall
For us, the location was perfect - about half way between the old port and the Municipal gardens with the wine festival. The view from the room looked up and down the esplanade and out to sea. The room was spacious and clean. For basic self catering, the kitchen was reasonably equipped..... There was parking at the back of the hotel. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short for personal reasons so were only there for one night!
Room was a good size and mostly quiet. Bed was comfortable. Aircon worked really well and cooled the room down quickly. The hotel is on the beach and lovely to walk along in the evening. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The Lebanese night was fantastic - food was delicious, plenty of vegan options, music was great, and we enjoyed the belly dancing too.
Everything about Sunset Gardens is amazing, probably the best rental in the entirety of Cyprus. The apartments are super clean, the beds are very comfy, the entire gated community is wonderful, and the apartment was excellently furnished. Excellent location to stay at if you want to be close to the Casino, City of Dreams is only a 4 minute drive.
The facilities at this hotel are second to none. Every corner of the property is meticulously designed and maintained, creating an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations, and the presentation was nothing short of exquisite.
The room and the hotel, in general, were all very clean. The bed was super comfortable and the internet was amazing. The staff were super friendly and dealt with every request of mine. I would definitely visit the hotel again be it for work or holidays.
Location on the beach front, the room & breakfast were excellent. But specially the service, the reception were exceptional - really nice service behavior. The hotel was full but the feeling nice.
Also nice parking for car and easy to get in & out.
The hotel is close to Limassol, very clean, great selection of food! Very friendly staff, right on the beach, perfect for nature lovers, and a great spot for explorers, in the middle of all wonderful things yo see or do in Cyprus. Kids friendly.
for our third visit to Cyprus, we chose Ajax hotel for the 3rd time. very clean room, room view to the sea, room temperature was great (despite the low temperature for the season), great choice for breakfast, free parking spots at the hotel.
We appreciated the hospitality of all hotel staff.
We adored the view (beautiful sunrise and the sound of the see)
Breakfast with a lot of options, fresh and tasty.
Fitness and spa possibilities
Hotel’s surrounding
This is a very quiet and beautiful place to be. The house is clean and perfect with everything you need. . The Host panicos filled the fridge with fruits, water, milk and bread. This is my best experience in Cyprus.
the location, style of the hotel, spacious room with comfortable bed and modern furniture, the spa was really amazing, big thanks to the spa specialist Alexandra, LPM restaurant was nice
Hotel management was great. I lost a bank card, and the owner tried his best with a help of finding it. Patiently & amicably.
They also agreed to store our bags with no additional fee.
the location of the hotel is on the beach and there is a beautiful pool outside and the view is very nice but that’s the only thing good at that hotel.
