Penzion U Růže has a quiet location. It is possible to park the car on the Pension's property. The room is situated under the roof. There is a tilting roof window which can be darkened. We liked the beds, the shower was excellent. The Wifi is OK and the TV has a quality flatscreen. The breakfast is huge (continental with yoghurt, muesli, corn flakes, frankfurters). A special mention deserves the staff, who were very friendly. Nearby there is the state museum villa of president Benes and his spouse, which is worthwhile visiting. We ate at the villa restaurant, which is quite expensive but has a good cuisine. We also tried the restaurant of the Penzion U Růže, which can be recommended as well

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the town of Tabor. It has parking if you need. There is a big Billa supermarket right next to the hotel as well as a bus stop and also close to the train station. The hotel is super clean and has everything you need. The breakfast was great and rich. I slept in a twin economy room with a shared bathroom. Linen and towels are included. There is a nice Cafe next to the hotel (Cafe Svet). The staff was amazing, especially Ilona which explained everything to me and was really helpful and kind by arranging taxi for a luggage transfer (I hiked the Luznici valley trail). I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer! Tabor is a cute town.
