The renovated barn was crafted with modern details while keeping a rustic charm. The furnishings, including the bed, were very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom and wonderful shower. We liked that the toilet was in a separate room and the spacious living area upstairs combined with the bedroom was perfect. A washer/dryer combo and iron/ironing board were also provided. Even though it sits on a corner with traffic going by we did not have any issues with noise. We never had an occasion to use the wood stove but did use the countertop induction hot plates for cooking. Great location to use as a base to explore the Black Forest. We had no issues with heating/cooling since the weather was 11-16 C. It was wonderful.
