Authentic, German experience with little or no tourists.Charming town, old architecture, pedestrian streets. Many friendly, non English -speaking people. Slow pace of life, many bicycles, retired people. Forest walks, (favourite place: Stadwald forest and lake with beergarden wth fabulous food) Also nice is Cosmopolitan garden irestaurant in Krefeld centre with a variety of dishes including Indian (Sri Lankan chef). Also lake swimming, Shopping also good. Dussledorf 30 mins by tram. You can walk around centre easily.

Krefeld is the town where I was born, so I might be a bit biased. But especially Linn with its wonderful castle and the old town next to it is worth a visit. Also the Deutsche Textilmuseum is very interesting. I believe that Krefeld with its many museums (Bauhaus!) and pedestrian zone with many shops offers something to everybody. Shopping, culture, hiking, biking - it is all there.
Everything was perfect. Big house very very clean and very hot all day and all night. In a very nice location 15 - 20 min. away with a car from Krefeld, Dusseldorf, Kempen and other nice city's. If you want to relax in a beautiful place in the German countryside you must book this amazing apartment. I recommend it 100%. Thank you for everything
This was my first time ever staying at a holiday apartment and not a hotel. And it exceeded my expectations. The apartment is a home far from home - it's very clean, cosy and you have absolutely everything that you can need. The owner and host is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure that you have the best possible experience.
You don't need a card or key to enter the room: you receive a code to enter at the door, which also works for the entrance door downstairs, after the reception is closed. Therefore, no checkout is needed, which was great for me because I needed to leave the hotel before the reception was open. Drinks and snack machines available.
Its the best apartments in Krefeld. Very comfortable, very clean with excellent design. APartment owner
Beata does everything to ensure that customers are satisfied.apartment, garden with fruit trees, wicker furniture and a pond, all this creates a fabulous mood, like from the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm

For our purpose, a 1 night stay near Golfclub Issum, It's a great hotel
Good breakfast. Small but good menu card the evening. Staff very friendly. Convenient location, good to reach, easy car parking just in front of the hotel. Very good for business travellers, but also for bicycle travellers for example.
Hotel has pleasant lobby, where you can stay and hangout through the day. It has a Bus station in front of the hotel, so it is convenient to get to the city (near) center part.
Room beds are comfy and clean.
