The food was excellent, with local produce, and we were welcomed and treated like family. There are two sulphur baths in walking distance.

Nature and Adventure is a must for me so hence me coming to Dominica. Scotts Head;OMG that place is like a Paradise very beautiful, your waterfalls beautiful and COLD, SCREWS; that hot spring was really relaxing and nice. THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY; DO NOT GO THERE the Lady was 10/10 unpleasant the minute we arrived her face was unpleasant, I introduced myself & was hoping for an introduction but none,I asked a question she steups and turn off her face so the others who were with me walked off I remained because I have patience like job. She didn't even want me touch the pack of chocolate to read the ingredients far less ask her about the Chocolate,I asked her if she is not feeling well because as humans we can be irritated or uncomfortable if working and feeling sick her response was "I'm feeling good" so I was confused why all the ATTITUDE. I told her I'm not doing the tour I'm just buying Chocolates, I would have bought 15 Chocolate to carry back home for family and friends but her ATTITUDE, she walked off on me and I was CONFUSED and that's when my patience ended and I had to open my mouth. YOU CANNOT TREAT tourist who coming to your place of business like that, other tourist who were there told one of the Lady who were with me they are NOT BUYING because the lady has an attitude and she didn't do her anything. Tell me CHOCOLATE FACTORY how can you have workers who are unpleasant to customers. I even asked her DO YOU NOT WANT ME TO BUY FROM YOU or It's the other way around? HER ATTITUDE STINKS and I would be telling everyone DO NOT GO WHERE THEY MAKE CHOCOLATE in Dominica unless you get someone who is pleasant and put her to the BACK where she doesn't have to greet tourist. That attitude can upset your entire trip to Dominica....UNACCEPTABLE

A charming town with a lot of character, especially from the old stone and wooden buildings which are still in great shape. There's a lot to see in Dominica's capital - from the National Museum to the Botanical Gardens to old buildings like the Bishop's Residence.
Also, there are several places where you can get great food - Smoothylicious and the Rendezvous Restaurant come to mind as well as delicious local drinks.

Very nice place to discover!
Very nice place to discover! High mountains, old cannon forts, with beautiful mountainviews and valleys. Beautiful flowers, fruit trees, nature grown herbs & plants!
People were very friendly! Nice Island for experiencing bathing in the warm or hot sulfur pools.
The photos do not do justice to the house, and I told Lessie that he needs better photos to show how much more light there is, how everything is new and well done in the house.
Lessie is very helpful, communicates quickly and overall a great host.
The house is in the very green and lush part of the island , and within walking distance to the Trafalgar falls (not an easy walk on the knees).
Everything in the house us provided, even more than basic toiletries, which makes it the best house we stayed at on our long trip on multiple islands.
The Place is a brand new villa, well equipped on top of a small Hill overlooking Roseau. The view from the balconies is incredible. Every day you get an amazing Sunset. Walking down to the city takes about 20 minutes, going back up i recommend a taxi :) You can also order food to the house easily.. From Roseau you can easily get Busses to many parts of the Island, but it is easiest if you have a car.
Tim is a very welcoming host, he picked me up from the Ferry and is always very helpful. Next time is stay longer.
The location was excellent, about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Roseau and the apartment had everything you could need even including a fully stocked medicine box. Annette the host and her husband were amazing, providing me with some food to get me started and also critically, helping me when I had a problem with my credit card. I couldn`t rate them highly enough and would stay here again. The apartment was good value and only the cleaning charge made me rate it less than 100%.
Our stay was wonderful. Lessie was a very responsive and gracious host. He greeted us upon arrival and was so kind to have fresh coconut water ready for us. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything you could need for a short or semi-long stay. It's best to have a car or some form of transportation if you stay here, but it really is a good location to get to all the sites in the area quickly. We enjoyed it very much!
It has a beautiful view right on the ocean. The staff let you know of all the attractions and how to get the cheapest transportation to them and made sure every day that everyone had what they needed. The staff even went as far as to take some of them to where they needed to help get acclimated with the island to get a better idea how things work. And they didn't have to do that. Very friendly place.
It’s such an amazing place to stay!! The inn is located in a perfect location, surrounded by lush mountainous landscapes. All the trailheads and things to do in the area are all within a 5-15 minute drive. The best thing though is the host family— so friendly and makes you feel so welcome and right at home!! There's also a kitchen with everything you'd need. I would recommend this inn it to anyone!
The Inn is only a few minutes from the centre and the Roseau ferry terminal, so it’s very convenient if you arrive by ferry.
The place was very clean and the staff very friendly. They also let us check in early as the room was already available.
There is a shared balcony with a nice view on the city, perfect to relax a bit and enjoy a beer.
We really enjoyed staying at Ginette's place. It's very close to Roseau but in complete nature. The house is resourceful and if you pay attention you will see hummingbirds and agoutis.
Our host was absolutely amazing, she took care of the rental car and booked us a guide to the Boiling Lake Hike.
Cocoa Cottages is located in a beautiful part of Dominica with easy access to the falls and trails as well as into Roseau. The rooms are beautifully apportioned and there is a real sense of being in the heart of the rain forest. The people working there are just amazing.
The property's location is absolutely superb - right next to the sea, so good for a lovely morning tea on the balcony with the view, it's close to the bus stops, etc.
The host responds to messages very quickly, if there is an issue, he will do his best to fix it.
The room was very comfortable and clean with all the basic necessities. I also liked that it is close to Roseau. The restaurant was an added bonus for easy access to breakfast and dinner.. I feel it is good value for your money.
Something very different. It was nice and very relaxing. The owner, Natty, did all efforts to give you a nice stay. His garden fruits was out this world. Best papaya ever.
Beautiful view of the city. Jim our host was very friendly and helpful.
Deceivingly large accommodation high on a hill but close to Roseau.
Highly Recommended!
The place is very modern and the host was honestly the best I've had really friendly and helpful. I struggled to leave since I felt so at peace while there.
Rooms were beautiful and unique. Amazing location close to the city and to most outdoor sites. Meals were ABSOLUTELY worth it. Best food on the island.
