Great restaurant on site. Cabins very nice and private, included hammock and little table outside on porch. Some with sea view. Quick walk to beach right out front. Beach is long and flat, great for walking. Surf wasn't great while we were there - close out beach break. Access to outdoor kitchen area with free drinking water and fridge available. Small pool close by.

Ayampe is a quiet and extremely safe location. It is next to the Colibri trail which is one of the best birdwatching locations in Ecuador. Ayampe is a beautiful little coastal town with an amazing beach and really good surf break. There are a number of lovely cafes and a great surfboard hire business, Otra. The locals are really friendly and it’s a perfect place to escape for a week or two to chill out and enjoy the simple things in life. There is plenty to do around the region including exploring the local fishing towns, visit Machalilla National Park, Los Frailes beach is really lovely and beautiful clear blue water. In Purto Lopez there is the most amazing artisanal chocolate shop, Pacha Chocolate Boutique. Veronica Alvarez does an amazing job making exceptional chocolate, Alfajores and brownies. It’s a must go to for anyone who likes chocolate.

Ayampe is a quiet village and the streets roll up at 8 most nights. Not a very social town but it is clean and gorgeous! Found some great restaurants including Los Orishas and Mali.

Great wifi, very fast! The owner also arranged a tour for us to La Plata Island, which was very nice. A beach (super clean) is only a block away from the property. Great tide pools there too!!!
