Decent stay at an affordable price. McDonald’s next door was great. Bus stop right in front of hotel was nice. Did not need to drive downtown. Just one bus ride there and back. Close to airport.

Apartment was very clean and modern, cupboards and refrigerator were full of food and drinks, and there was also a k-cup coffee machine, and Mario picked us up from the airport and also dropped us off, which was super helpful. Mario treated us like friends. You couldn't ask for a better host.

Mario, our host, is gracious and accommodating with great directions and wonderful suggestions on what to do with our three days in Barcelona. We arrived pretty late but he was there waiting with a smile, help with luggage, and a full tour of the property. Breakfast was on your own with provided provisions ... but Mario makes sure you have a LOT of provisions. The fridge was stocked with juices, milk, meats, eggs, yogurts, and soda. The cupboards had multiple types of bread, muffins, cereals, jams, and snacks. The kitchen had a full 5 gal jug of drinking water. The inhouse entertainment system is top notch with Mario setting up a "gamer's room" ... cannot rate as I am not a gamer. What I can tell you is the TV is over 80" and you will have access to almost all premium services (HBO, Disney, etc). We did not use fully as we were in Barcelona and there is a lot to do in Barcelona. The bed is a true King-Sized bed with handy USB and electric outlets on both sides. You will wake up to a spectacular panoramic view of Barcelona suburbs, the sea, and the hillsides in the morning ... and go to bed with a gorgeous scene of night lighting at night. The bathroom had all we needed with a nice pressure shower with wrap around windows .. yes they are frosted. The patio is set up with a comfy outdoor sofa and chairs with the wonderful view of the city and sea. Coffee and breakfast in the morning there will be missed.

We loved everything. The apartment was lovely - spacious, well furnished, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It had everything you could need. The kitchen was really well equipped - with every utensil you could need if you did decide to cook. And plenty of cleaning products, toilet paper, kitchen paper, tea, coffee, cooking oil, herbs.....it has a dolce gusto coffee machine which was a bonus. The wifi was great. TV had Netflix and several other streaming options - not that we had time to watch it. And the air con was excellent. Beds were comfortable and there were lovely clean sheets and towels. The 2 pools really were the icing on the cake. Because the apartment is in a residential unit (not.a tourist unit) the pools were much quieter - which for August was really a treat. One afternoon we had the pool completely to ourselves . It did get busier at the weekend - but never overcrowded. There is also a paddle ball court and basketball - and Carlos had 2 racquets and balls for visitors use. Carlos met us on arrival and was great. We have very, very limited Spanish and he has a similar amount of English but we managed fine. The apartment is right beside a shopping center with some nice shops, a supermarket, bowling alley and go cart racing. It is 5 minutes walk to an outlet shopping mall - Style Outlet - and 4 mins walk to the train station. Just 3 to 4 stops into Barcelona in one direction and just 3- 4 stops to 2 lovely beach resorts the other direction (Castellfidels and Sitges). Ideal. The Viledecans old town and local Rambla (eating area) are 10-15 minutes walk. They are basic but authentic and the people are lovely. Very few people speak English and they don't expect tourists but they are so friendly! Especially if you try to speak some basic Spanish. There is a great atmosphere at the bars and restaurants and the food was good and very reasonable. There is also a nice Italian in the shopping centre.

    hotel is next to the train station and a Mercadona in a shopping center. Behind the hotel is a mix of business / warehouses and living areas. Quite quiet area and some cafe´s restaurants in the area, even if not directly next to the hotel though

    The hotel is close to the airport if you take the taxi, it’s about 15 mins. Quiet surrounding. A bit far from the city center, just make sure you buy the AMB card and Hola if you plan to stay many days. From the airport you can ride the L99/L96 to the hotel.

    It was abit confusing working out the best train to get to...

    It was abit confusing working out the best train to get to Viladecans from Las Ramblas. The train map / google maps and other searches brought up confusing ways that involved changing lines. I asked at the train station and the personnel there were very helpful and in the end it was super easy (one train / no changes) but this was different to my original searches. Pays to ask a local!! Shopping centre was overrated - not worth going to the Nike Factory outlet. It was crazy busy and the prices were not cheap at all. Food options were good though.

    I would never recommend anyone to stay at this place...

    I would never recommend anyone to stay at this place especially if you are black. I was dismissed on so many occasions when trying to ask a question even when I’m using a translator but as soon as someone of another color comes in the would just ignore me and speak with them as I’m not there. Breakfast I would not recommend because it’s only a cold breakfast toast and cereal even the coffee from the dispenser was cold. The cleaners only come in and change the bed sheet and they believe this is clean they never wipe the floor nor change the towel or maybe it’s becuse I was a black person staying there. The treatment was so divided so I would urge people not to stay there if they can.

    We arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check-in at 2pm.

    We arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check-in at 2pm. The guy at check-in was fluent in English and very helpful. He allowed us to get immediate entry to a room without an extra charge- he was sympathetic that our cruise ship had docked in Barcelona very early. All staff we dealt with spoke good English and were obliging. Free WiFi was great too. Breakfast was lovely. A great selection of options from cereal, fruit, cheese, ham, semi-skimmed and full fat milk, water, juice etc. We made use of the MacDonald’s next door where many staff also spoke English. Taxis were often available right outside the hotel. This was helpful when we went to the airport for our flight home.

    Without exaggeration, everything was fantastic... location, equipment, comfort, quality, breakfast, care as if we were family. We encountered a lot of details that we have not seen anywhere in recent years. The host's approach was excellent, he is an exceptional person and we can recommend him. The price we got in the Barcelona area is very favorable. On our next visit to Barcelona, ​​we will 100% stay here again.

    The apartment was big and clean, it had all kitchen facilities and utensils. It is 3 min walk from a bus stop to go to Barcelona. We were very pleasantly surprised by the host ordering a food delivery for us as we arrived late in the evening. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was nice and we had a great stay.

    Location was good for a night stay to catch a flight, very easy access by train from Barcelona. Catching L99 bus to terminal 1 was very convienent and easy next morning. The bus stops near the free shuttle to T2.
