This was our first time visiting Chablis and we loved it.
This was our first time visiting Chablis and we loved it. We stayed in a hotel in the center of town that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Everything was within walking distance, so we never had to move the car once we parked it. There is a spacious free, parking lot as street parking would be difficult.
The town was very charming. We enjoyed walking around and stopping into some of the little shops. Of course, Chablis is home to some fabulous wines and wineries, so we did our share of tasting.
We just arrived home and we are already talking about returning to see the things we couldn't get to on this trip.

We have visited Chablis a number of times, this trip was the first time we have stayed; 2 nights at Chez Bea was the perfect accommadation in the Centre of Chablis, providing easy walkable access to the Chablis Wine establisments and numerous Restaurants, all of a high standard.
Our 2 cocker spaniels welcome at Chez Bea, and also in the Restaurants.
Chablis Sunday Markets are very good with many high standard local produce to choose from.
P.S. On Market days the main highstreet is closed; If you are thinking of leaving Chablis on a Sunday by car, check with the local Tourist information for a route out of the town.

I’ve stayed in Chablis many times. I like it. It’s not improving however and this kind of non hotel is not helping matters
We eventually stayed in an old favourite Host du Clos which has also lost its rosette and is not as good as it was

If you like good chablis, this is the place to go to, Here you can finde the famous Wine-houses, and good opportunities to taste and buy good chablis wine. It is an old city, with many old buildings, but it is a smal town. take the opportunity to take a walk in the Grand cry wine yards, by following the trail from the town.
We found a very good restaurant in the same building at the Hôtel Du Vieux Moulin (Au Fil du Zinc), but you need to make reservation in advance.

We only had a Wednesday stop over but after all day riding we were very disappointed, on arrival, to find only one bar and two restaurants open in the evening. At 8.30 many visitors were left bemused by Chablis apparent lack of care for their tourists.

Chablis is a very small town but quite charming- and lots and lots of places to taste the wonderful Chablis wine. A few useful places to eat and a lovely typical bar right in the centre, the patrons of which were great
Everything was very nice! We drove to Chablis and although we were late for the check in due to traffic, the hosts were so kind and accommodating. They advised for parking and they showed us around the property, which was so clean, quiet, comfortable and fully equiped. It's located super centrally for wandering around the village and it's within short walking distance from bakeries, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended if you are looking for accommodation in the area!
The location is lovely with views of the GC vineyards and a short walk to the village and free car park. The free breakfast was ok. The only difficulty lies in the fact that there are 2 short flight of stairs to reach first floor and rarely any attendants to help with you luggage. The restaurant I am told is excellent but no priority is given to hotel guests so you need to book well in advance-which is mentioned on their reservation page.
What a wonderful place. There's a wonderful terrace where I was welcomed and looked after, following a loooong bike ride - offered a tasting menu of Chablis from Petit to Grande Cru; I was then shown to my beautiful room which overlooks a quiet street in the heart of Chablis. I was there for one night only on a long bike tour but would visit again next time I'm in the area. Super! Merci
Beautiful old style renovated top floor. Open space with kitchen and dining/living room area. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. Plenty of room and decorated lovely. Easy to find in central location- walking distance to everywhere in Chablis and a bakery 30 seconds away for breakfast goodies. Free parking available about 2-3 minutes walk away if you can grab a space.
The rooms are spare but cozy, and the spot is convenient to everything in Chablis anyone could want to see. The best part? The restaurants in the hotel are incredible, with a wine list longer than War and Peace. Have aperitifs or breakfast outside in the stunning courtyard. Friendly and kind staff who are all fluent in English as well as French.
A little paradise in close proximity of Chablis centre, beautifully cared for garden and space and inside perfectly equipped and spacious home containing everything you would need. Quiet and peaceful with very welcoming hosts Julia and John, thank you both for making our stay so good !
Bed was firm and very comfortable. A very clean hotel, with friendly and efficient staff. English speaking younger lady was excellent. She had a great knowledge of the area and was really helpful. Her French was very good as well.
The apartment is beautiful -- spacious, comfortable, and located in the center of Chablis. The host was very responsive and communication was easy. It was our second time staying here and I would highly recommend.
The apartment is right in the middle of Chablis and 30 meters from the free parking lot. It is nicely furnished and modernized. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. We would stay again.
