A privately owned and run chalet; with easy access for skiing, just a minutes walk from the piste which will enable you to join the ski lifts for skiing on both sides of the resort. A ski in and out chalet. The chalet itself is light airy and spacious and offers a large balcony, a great advantage to sit in the sun at the end of a day's skiing and take in the stunning views. The chalet has six bedrooms; 4 double bedded rooms, 1 bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and 1 bedroom with one set of bunk beds. There is 1 bathroom and 3 shower rooms and a separate toilet. The chalet has a fully equipped kitchen.
I live close by to the chalet and I offer all the little extras you would expect from a privately run chalet, I am on hand for the duration of your stay should you need information, to ensure you have an exceptional holiday. I can provide you with details on hiring ski equipment, the buying of lift passes, ski school lessons and airport transfers.
The chalet is in a quiet residential part of the resort and is ski in and out. There is a free bus service to the center of the resort with the nearest stop a minutes walk from the chalet. By foot the center of the resort is 10 minutes away. After your day on the mountain there are many activities to choose from; ice-skating, ski-dooing, in door bowling, swimming to name a few. For a quieter time enjoy a crepes and vin chaud in one of the local restaurants. Feel like a day off then you can visit by tele-cabin the village of Venosc which has a selection of craft shops offering homemade produce. The resort of Les Deux Alpes has an excellent skiing area for both beginner and experts. From the resort you can access La Grave and St Christophe, one of the largest off piste skiing areas in France. (A guide is recommended). There is a weekly excursion taking you to the ski resort Alps d'huez an hour away.
