Property info

Chalet Talini is a new semi-detached chalet in Les Gets. It is located at the entrance to the village, just a couple of hundred metres from the Perrieres Express chairlift. The chalet was completed in Summer 2014, and is decorated in high quality wood and painted walls though out. The chalet is built to a high specification, with extra insulation against both noise and temperature. Heating is through an environmentally friendly heat exchange system and a wood burner (burning logs from the local area). There is a hot tub outside in the private garden. There are 2 parking spaces to the exterior. The garage has been converted into a ski room and bike storage with a boot warmer and a ski rack. There is also a washing machine and a dryer available for guests' use. Linen is not included. Linen hire is available at 32 Euros per person. PLEASE note that there has been a residence built in front of the chalet, the pictures are not representative anymore of the view from the chalet for the winter22.

Neighborhood info

Les Gets has won an award, 4 times, as the worlds best family ski resort. It is a charming traditional resort dating back to the 13th century. The resort also is the venu, in the summer, for the world downhill mountain bike championships. Les Gets also has some great skiing areas for those who want something more adventurous, it is part of the Portes du Soleil, the largest ski areas in Europe with some 640km piste. The main benefits of Les Gets for skiing are: • Quick and easy access to the slopes, many chalets are ski in/ski out to within a few metres. • With a large number of lifts, queues are usually short • Les Gets has grass as the base, not rocks, so with just 30cm snow you can have great skiing. • It is unusual for pistes to be closed in Les Gets, it does not suffer from high winds, or difficult weather and also with much of the slopes being within the tree lines, the pistes are more protected. • Prices are very reasonable in the resort
