Our estate consists of 3 self-catering gites which were noted in the March 2023 issue of Maisons et Jardins magazine for their typical Dordogne beauty. Location of the Gite The main building, where the gites are located, is an old Perigord farmhouse restored with the original stone and wood materials. Description of the accommodation. Each 4/6/8 person house has a comfortable living room (46 inch LED TV, 117 cm) with sofa(s), a teak dining room, with matching chairs, a spacious kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and a large fridge-freezer. All rooms have beds (90x200) which can be separated or joined on request and are equipped with a washbasin. Each house has its own private terrace with a BBQ. A washing machine and a dryer are available. Wifi is available in each house. For the Gîte 1 of 4 persons, you will find 2 double rooms with each one a bathroom with Italian shower and an independent WC, as well as a WC on the ground floor. For the Gîte 2 for 6 people, you will find 3 double rooms, with a bathroom on the first floor and a separate toilet on the ground floor. For Gîte 3 (8 people), you will find 4 double bedrooms, one of which has a bunk bed measuring 90X200, as well as 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. The Domaine des Grands Bois opens its magnificent reception room of about 150m² to you, ideal for sharing unforgettable moments of conviviality. Equipped with a magnificent American billiard table and a home cinema system with a large screen, it opens onto a terrace overlooking the 26 hectare private estate, offering you the spectacle of the splendour of nature. Finally, a playground and a panoramic swimming pool (6mx12m) heated with salt from April to October welcome you to make your stay a moment of conviviality and happiness.

Sergeac is located in the Périgord Noir on the banks of the Vézère, bordered by high cliffs at the foot of which numerous prehistoric sites have been discovered. After the obligatory passage in front of a monumental cross of crossroads, of a medieval style not very common in Périgord, one sees the imposing mass of the church built towards the end of the XIth century on Roman ruins. The village is also home to the authentic site of Castel Merle which presents 10 remarkable rock shelters, occupied by Neanderthal man 85,000 years ago then by Cro-Magnon man 35,000 years ago. It is one of the strongest concentrations of deposits in Europe translating an exceptional continuity of human occupation.
