Characterful Perigordian-style 2 bedroom gite set in expansive, rural grounds (complete with friendly donkeys!) some 3 km from the impressive medieval town of Sarlat. Very convenient method of self-service check-in and out. Very well appointed property, with effective downstairs shower. Great communication with helpful host who was always very prompt and courteous in his responses to any queries I had, both before and during my stay. Extensive details regarding how to get to the property, together with recommendations for eating out and places of interest to visit, were provided in advance. Very tranquil setting - occasional traffic noise from a concealed main road some 200 metres from the property in the lower reaches of the grounds was barely noticeable. Overall, a very enjoyable and worthwhile 10 night stay at this property, which ideally suited my requirements.
