Beautiful, walkable city retaining its character with numerous roman ruins and historic sites. Fun to explore tiny side streets and great restaurants. Watch out for the Mistral - you might need layers or a warmer jacket!

It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound. But if you look selectively for a good restaurant you will find several and we had four outstanding dinners. It’s small but cozy and clean with lots of cute squares for tea or a drink. Several good museums and roman monuments. Four days is not too long.

The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

Arles is just gorgeous, but I also really recommend a guided trip into the Camargue, stunning nature and history. We were guided by Christophe from the official guide association, great experience. Also, the saturday market is a must! A lot of great things on offer to take with you on a picknick in the country-side just outside of Arles!

Charming city. Easy walk to all sights.
Charming city. Easy walk to all sights. Interesting Roman ruins and beautiful Romanesque church. Excellent archeological museum. Welcoming and helpful people. Beautiful little shops. Highly recommended.
This was a small hotel on the banks of the Seinne. The location was ideal for exploring Arles. Our room overlooked the river Seinne. Arles is a delightful little town and when we visited there was a convention for photographers. The climate was ideal because we were basked in the gentle breeze from the mistral, a relief after the extreme heat of summer 2022. Arles had plenty to see and do. We also had delicious meals as you might expect in a French town.
I had a pleasant stay at this small hotel. A walking distance from the train station. The room was good size and split to form a semi-suite. Bathroom good size too and plenty of hot water. Everything spick n’ span clean. Staff was both helpful and extremely friendly. So was the staff of the restaurant. Its menu was interesting but always tasty. Lots of small dishes and I can especially recommend the courgette terrine. Truely great.
very nice village 10 minutes outside the centre of Arles.
We only stayed for one night so did not really have the time to try the facilities, the room was good in term of size and had a nice little terrace to enjoy the quiet and green environment.
I think the place would be perfect for families since there is a lot to do (swimming pool, horse riding, walks, tennis courts) and some amazing attractions just some kilometers away
The house is situated right in the center of Arles well within walking distance of all important sites. Although this isn’t a hotel, you have the whole of the second floor for your stay. Although the floor has only two rooms, the bedroom is very large with double bed, fridge, tv and tea and coffee facilities, and the bathroom is very clean.
Location is great in the Old Town and everything is within easy walking distance. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you'll need to feel like you're at home. Bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. Communication with the host was smooth, check-in very easy. If you're going to Arles, this is the place to stay.
We were traveling by bicycle and stayed one night. We were very pleased with the service and the friendliness of the hotel staff, everyone was really nice and polite. One really had the feeling to be a welcomed guest. The room was great, same applies for the hotel interior. Though, it is in the center of Arles it is very quiet.
Delightful family run hotel. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful proprietor and personnel. Pleasant and comfortable room with garden and pool view. Good breakfast. Good size pool with sunbeds. Garden with chickens! plenty of outdoor seating in shade/sun as preferred. Quiet location on outskirts of Arles.
The hotel is very nice located - we cross the bridge and we are in Arles. There was no problem with parking car in the streets near the hotel. The room had AC - very valuable during heatwave in August. We like the breakfast.
We loved the three floors. It was located central to the old part of Arles. It was about a 10 minute walk. The owner met us at the property and was super helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location and great for only being a two-star hotel. A very nice welcome and we also got a detailed map on what to see and where to eat. So very appreciated! Lovely stay in Arles!
Beautiful surroundings in Arles by the centre but in a quiet position. Lovely clean airy hotel room with a great bathroom. Fab breakfast by a great host. We loved it.
Location- 5 min walk to Arles station and I the edge of the historic centre.
Spacious and comfortable room in a lovely hotel.
Staff welcoming and helpful.
