Paris lives up to its reputation as the city of light. Revisiting, not matter how long you have been away, a week or a decade, it remains much the same, always exciting and endearing. Special entertainments and "attractions" are not needed. The Metro is user friendly for visitors, thought it would be good if the Metro took credit cards straight to the machine. The city of Love - and it is a city that I will always find my ways again. I have came to Paris for more than 5+ times, with different people, different goals, and each of them shows me a side of Paris that I have never seen - something new to discover. From the bustling Eiffel Tower to the spacious Louvre full of culture and history, Paris is a city where you will never see 'enough'. There are always something new to discover. In terms of attractions, every museums that we visited: Orsay, Louvre, it was worth every penny spent. A city for those who loves history and culture. Eiffel Tower has multiple places for us to view it from different perspective, and it was really worth the walk to these places to see the tower from different angle. When it comes to safety, just be aware of your surroundings. Keep your eyes open, bags shut and always be careful. It might be a lot safer than you thought. It was my second time back in Paris and I found it to be exceptional. The food was amazing and there were so many options, it was difficult to choose. Everyone we spoke to along the way were kind and pleasant, and always willing to help. Saw some amazing French historical sites and learned a lot. I stayed for studying abroad since June 17 and returned home August 7. It still felt short, however, I went to other countries on the weekends. If you truly want to experience Paris, I'd say you have to be there at least 2 weeks, wake up early, and see at least half of the districts fully. Paris is drowning in Tourists. I will never go in the summer again. I only went this year to see Waterlilies in Giverny but there were hardly any. The house was so full of people we didn't stay to tour it. We had been to the Louvre before so opted to skip it this year due to the crowds. I knew many restaurants would close in August, but was surprised at the many lttle stores, delis and bakeries that closed also.
