It was a really lovely apartment but there were no instructions for use of the microwave or dishwasher. The instructions for entry need to be more specific. The second shower doors did not meet so was difficult to use. The area is one of our favourites but on this occasion the sea was beautiful but very noisy as there were both high tides and severe wind. The oxygen was wonderful but the nights very noisy. Sea gusts into the bedroom windows was a bit scary. Very lovely appartment presentation. Space to die for. Lovely touches around the apartment. Our tiny chihuahua Polly-Rose really loved her stay and enjoyed every minute.

Torcross is a village at the southern end of Slapton Sands, in the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A historical site of interest for visitors, this area of coastline is a site where the Normandy landings were practiced. Slapton Sands is a 1.2 mile-long stretch of shingle beach, which is dog-friendly all year round. This area is fantastic for nature lovers, with Slapton Ley Nature Reserve adjacent to the beach. The towns of Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are both within driving distance, offering boutique shops, galleries and restaurants.
