The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants and bars and just a 15 minute walk from Plymouth centre. All the appliances worked and the place was very clean.

Sharon Lamerton and Leanne Elliott created Lamells Limited when they were offered a property to refurbish and look after, with Sharon's flair for finding properties that need some TLC and Leanne's love of interior design they try and make the houses you stay in homes. Offering some lovely finishing touches to the apartments creating a relaxed and comfortable environment, they're not far away if you need anything either. Sharon has some great local knowledge of Plymouth and Devon whilst Leanne can share some fantastic places to visit in Cornwall. Friends for five years the business partnership is backed up by the handy husbands who will be on call during your stay too should you need them. Lamells provides accommodation with simple elegance and comfort for business and families.

Nick’s Place – Our Mutley Plain apartment is a spacious three bedroom apartment in an ideal location with a 5-10 minutes walk to our Plymouth City Centre, the historic Barbican and the University. The light and airy apartment is well equipped and includes free WI-IF. The apartment is on one of Plymouth’s most dynamic streets which has lots of useful amenities including a number of food stores, takeaways, pub and several small supermarkets. The space You will have the entire apartment available to you during your stay giving you total privacy. There is an open plan living/dining space and fully equipped kitchen. The large double bedroom has a comfortable (firm) bed and hanging wardrobe space. The 2 other bedrooms have wardrobes and cupboard space, 2 x twins beds and the main front bedroom has a sofa and tv as well. The apartment has a spacious big bathroom and it benefits from central heating and double glazing throughout. It is about a 5 minute walk to the train station with the University and Drake’s shopping centre just around the corner. Parking is 2 allocated spaces outside. Guest access Guests will have entire apartment to themselves. Parking is 2 allocated spaces outside. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE there is a staircase to access the apartment. The apartment is not suitable for smoking or pets.

Neighborhood info

There are several smaller supermarkets on Mutley Plain, plus chemists, barbers, cafes, takeaways, pubs, cafes and restaurants. With a taxi rank and bus stop on both sides of the road, it's easy to get in and out of the main town which is actually only a 10 minute walk away. The train station is close by and within walking distance is Plymouth's large Central Park. It can liven up at night times with some of the bars further up the road from the apartment and yet there is little live music in and around the bars within ear shot of the apartment. An ideal location for getting onto the A38 and discovering both Devon and Cornwall, great for business guests and families alike, it can offer a mix of calm tranquility within a cosmopolitan area.
