Flint Lodge is a 4 bedroom well presented detached property with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a family bathroom, lounge (private) dining room and kitchen. I do not permit cooking in the kitchen but I don't mind use of the microwave and fridge. There is plenty of free parking outside the property and there is one space in my driveway. There is a park within 2 min walk, bus stops to Brighton or Eastbourne a 5 min walk or 7 min walk to the cliff tops.
I am semi retired and manage to keep myself very busy with the B and B, walking and playing golf which is my passion. I enjoy meeting new people and I am happy to chat and help with local information whenever possible. I like to keep a clean and tidy home and would expect any guests to treat my home with respect.
Flint Lodge is situated in a quiet area but only a 5 min walk to a bus stop where buses go to either Brighton or Eastbourne approx every 10 mins depending on the time of day. It takes about 20 mins to reach the centre of Brighton. I am also only a 7 min walk to the clifftop walkway with lovely views and walks. The port of Newhaven where ferries go to Dieppe is a 7 min drive or easily accessible by bus 10 mins. It is a lovely area to walk in whether it is along the The South Downs Way or The Seven Sisters to Beachy Head. My property is ideal for guests who are cycling to or from Paris as I am not far from the ferry and I have a secure area where bikes can be stored overnight.
