Bacton is a small village perched on the Norfolk Coast, 10 miles East from Cromer. The village's amenities include a local store, fish and chip shop, café and gift shop. The area is renown for its fantastic beaches, Abbey Farm Cottage is only 5 minutes’ walk from the nearest, which is dog friendly. Only 15 minutes’ walk away is Walcott beach with seaside amenities including ice cream parlour and fish and chip shop. Mundesley and Happisburgh are only a little further afield, about 3.5 miles away, with popular North Norfolk town Cromer reachable in under half an hour. There’s several eateries and pubs in close proximity, including Poachers Pocket, The Lighthouse Inn, The Keswick and Oriental Garden. Further food and drink options are available in the town of North Walsham, which also offers the closest large supermarket. For those travelling with children, we would highly recommend a trip to BeWILDerwood. A fantastic adventure park with zip lines, jungle bridges and tree houses, which is drivable in under 25-minutes by car.
