This unique property has a style and charm all its own. Light and bright, recently converted luxury bungalow with quality furnishings. The property has everything you need for a short or long term stay and is fitted out with all modern amenities and a secluded garden in the heart of beautiful and historic Welwyn village. The village has a wonderful choice of restaurants, gastropubs, shops and great countryside on your doorstep or easy travel into London by train or car. The bungalow has a lounge area with a vaulted ceiling and double doors to the garden. The kitchen is bright and well equipment and has a dining table as well as double doors out to the garden. There is one bedroom with a king size bed and another with a single bed. The shower room is modern with illuminated mirror which has a charging socket for shaver/toothbrushes. The property's garden and patio area are secluded and sunny There are beautiful walks and cycle routes close by. Historic towns such as St Albans, Cambridge and Hertford are a short drive. The village is also close to major roads heading north and south. There is a small welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, pain au chocolate and butter for when you arrive and there is a Tesco Express and small M&S food store within walking distance of the bungalow. There are many nice places to eat in the village as well as lovely walks and cycle routes

I have been hosting properties since 2018 and I really enjoy meeting all the different guests. I am happy to help with suggestions during your stay or to let guests make their own fun. Welwyn is a beautiful old village with many lovely places to eat and a good selection of shops. It is surrounded by wonderful countryside and close to historic places like the Roman Baths, Hatfield House, St Albans Cathedral, Knebworth House and many more. There are also good sporting facilities - tennis courts, swimming pool, gym with day passes, cycle and walking routes. London, Cambridge and Milton Keynes are less than an hour away and all have good theatres and large shopping centres. In short, the area is blessed with being historic and beautiful but very functional and with good transport links.
