Escape to the charming and cosy cottage in the heart of the Peak District! Ava Lily Cottage is nestled amidst rolling hills and picturesque landscapes, this delightful cottage is the perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Located just 5 minutes walk away from the local town and a short drive away from charming towns and villages, as well as stunning hiking trails, this quaint cottage in the Peak District is the perfect base to explore all that the area has to offer. Utility room: Space for hanging coats and boot/shoe storage. Shower and toilet. Freezer, Dishwasher and Washer/drier. Kitchen/Diner: Electric oven and Gas hob, fridge, microwave, nespresso coffee machine and cafetière with seating for 4 people comfortably. Living Room: 2 sofas and window chair, Smart TV, electric fireplace (we have chosen this design for the ease and safety of our guests), extra throws for your comfort. Bedroom 1: Double bed with a view of the open fields, chest of drawers, hanging space. Bedroom 2: 2 Single beds which can be joined together to make a super king bed (please request if you would like them joined together on your booking) also with a chest of drawers. TRAVEL COT AND HIGHCHAIR AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Bathroom: Bath with over head shower, sink and toilet. All towels are provided for your stay Outdoor space: large patio area with table and chairs and parasol. Lockable garage with plenty of space to store bikes. Parking: Free public car park a minute away from the cottage, plenty of street parking available. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE STEPS TO REACH THE PATIO & GARDEN. We have installed hand rails and lighting but please take care, especially with young children. Other things to note The town is a 5 minute walk away which contains a lovely bakery "Tindalls", plenty of pubs, butchers, greengrocer and a Co-op. We also offer 20% off tickets for Matlock Farm Park.
