Enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. the bedroom was clean, kept tidy and was warm. I felt that the food and drink prices in the hotel were a little on the high side but it was my only criticism.

The place is a delight. all the things you need and more.

The place is a delight. all the things you need and more. extensive promenade all on the flat with cycle lane. beautiful views, shops, eateries. The transport links are amazing with buses frequent and the payment for them linked to trains in the area, so getting around is no problem. you get daily or weekly day rover tickets and can use them on buses or trains. Rhos is in the middle of Llandudno and Colwyn bay and if your an avid walker you can actually walk to both places or just stroll along the prom in the sunshine. Lots to do with good shops and antique centres. The zoo at Colwyn is a must see. Llandudno is only 4 miles away and is a big place again with everything you need including the Pier, the Great Orme tramway, and cable car. loads of really nice café's and restaurants. all in all a great place to go. what are you waiting for.!!

Rhos-on -Sea is a nice little town with a beauiful long sandy beach and a lovely walkway all along the lenght of the beach There is also a good choice of cafes and restaurants, our favourite being The Toad on the seafront.

Our day consisted of letting the kids play on the park, there was also a bouncy castle with a £2.50 charge for unlimited play although this may be limited on busier days. The large paddling pool looked good but probably much better on a warmer day! We then crossed over to the pub which has a lovely outdoor area. We had our tea followed by a game of crazy golf which was £10 for the four of us and then ice cream. We spent early evening on the beach, playing football and writing our names using the many rocks. Definitely recommend for families with young children

I know Rhos very well as my late mother lived there for many years. Rhos seems to have its own eco-system and whenever I go there the weather is always good. The scenery is gorgeous and there are a lot of walks, either along the sea front to Colwyn Bay and well beyond or, in the other direction, to Llandudno, up the Little Orme or the Big Orme. Everyone is very friendly and there are some gorgeous new properties in and around Rhos these days and there are some lovely independent shops and cafes there. I live in London and getting to Colwyn Bay just a few minutes drive from Rhos is very easy and there are direct trains to and from CB from Euston.

Compact seaside resort with a number of local shops for buying daily provisions. Excellent location for visiting key areas in North Wales - not more than approx 45 mins - 1 hour's drive to Betws y coed, Canaerfon, Anglesey and Llanberis for Snowdonia Railway. Some of the restaurants stopped serving quite early in the evening so check in advance.

Lovely town in a central location to a lot of sightseeing & walking. We ate in many places in various towns. The highlight in Rhos On Sea was Galleon, we would recommend the fish dinner & great value.
