It was immaculate and very well presented and reflected the photos well. We loved the old feeling about it and it had everything we needed. The welcome milk in the fridge and croissants were lovely and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed one for breakfast. The bath was lovely and relaxing and the television was lovely and large and easy to work. The kitchen is also well equipped and the expresso machine was used every day:-) Our young son loved watching the cars drive past as the windows were lovely and low. The property is only about a mile from town and close to the m3. The views are lovely from the property as well and the instructions to access the property were ever so easy and we even had photos sent of where to park etc. Overall, we really enjoyed the place and would highly recommend it.

The Property Located on the top of floor of a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, this beautiful, light and airy apartment has stunning views over St Catherines hill. A home from home with comfortable furnishings, cosy beds and large bright rooms. Parking for 2 cars and super fast Wifi. Located a few minutes walk to the water meadows and just a 15 to 20 min walk along the river to the centre of Winchester, this apartment is the perfect base to explore everything that Winchester has to offer. Parking for one car is located as the back of the house which is accessed via a side street 20m walk from the main front door. There is also a permit provided for the streets nearby. Please note, the apartment is on the second floor and access via staircase only. There is no lift. Do bear this in mind before booking.
I love to explore the world and meet new people. I host my own home and also help other owners as a Co host. There is a key safe at the apartment, so guests can access the property independently. This allows us to be flexible on your arrival time. Parking for one car is located as the back of the house which is accessed via a side street 20m walk from the main front door. I live locally so will be available if you have any questions or need help with anything during your stay.
The Neighbourhood St Cross is a beautiful area with access to the water meadows just 100m down the road, a fantastic area for walking and just a short 15 to 20 minute stroll along the river into the centre of Winchester. St Catherines hill is also nearby, with its beautiful views over the city. The Hospital of St Cross and Winchester college grounds are also a stones throw from the apartment. Winchester is a unique city and was once the capital of England under King Alfreds rule. With historical buildings and history galore, the Cathedral, Guildhall and the famous Great Hall and King Arthurs Table, mean that there is plenty to see and do. The train station is around 25 mins walk from the apartment, with direct trains to London Waterloo, only an hour away by train. There is also a bus stop just down the road which takes you to Southampton or straight into Winchester.
