Just a 15-minute drive from Stonehenge, The Pembroke Arms offers a restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is located in the Wilton Estate, and Salisbury can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Everything about this place was fantastic from the location, rooms, staff and food.
The family-run Chapter House is located in the heart of picturesque Salisbury. The listed Tudor building is rumored to have housed kings Charles I and Charles II. Free WiFi is accessible. Dinner & breakfast were exceptional. It really felt like visiting friends at a B&B but still had all the advantages of a boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and jovial and made us feel so welcome, even provided an excellent restaurant recommendation when their kitchen was closed. The location is perfect as you are right across the street from Salisbury cathedral close. We cannot wait to go back
Set in Salisbury, 1312 feet from Salisbury Cathedral, The Kings Head Inn features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. This hotel is right in the middle of downtown (shops, restaurants and walking distance to the Salisbury Cathedral) and couldn't have a more convenient location. It's a bit shady at night but in the daytime it's location can't be beat. The wifi was ok but the AC was fantastic on a hot day in England. We got a really large room with a king bed and 2 twin mini beds (called z beds) for our teens which was super comfortable. The bathroom is really big and very nice. The staff was very nice and actually helped save me money by suggesting a "family room" via email. Wonderful service and a nice hotel.
Set in the cathedral city of Salisbury, City Lodge is a 15th-century merchant house, which provides comfortable accommodations less than 5 minutes' walk from the city center. This is a clean and comfortable hotel. The room was spacious and had a couch. I would stay here again.
Grasmere House Hotel is set amid 1.5 acres of scenic gardens, rolling lawns and towering trees which back onto the banks of the rivers of Avon and Nadder, Only a few minutes' walk from the center of... Excellent and friendly front desk staff. Very large free parking area. Close to city center and within 15-20 min driving to Stonehenge. Our flight to Heathrow got delayed and we made it to the hotel later than the check-in limit. We informed them about our flight delayed and they arranged to have someone available to check us in. Very nice breakfast and nice terrace with a beautiful view of the Cathedral.
Located in the center of the city, this elegant, Georgian hotel with pillared entrance boasts modern rooms and private parking. Guests can find a restaurant, a lounge and a courtyard on site. First class hotel in centre of city opposite Cathedral entrance and within east reach of the vast array of eating places and hostelries, sadly Salisbury is still feeling the effect of the recent publicity

Amazing Saturday market with great foods, hardware, hats etc. Easy to walk around the City. Not there long enough to check out many places. Cathedral very interesting including the food in their new refectory. Clean streets, but horrible dirty multi story car parks
We went to Salsbury mainly to see the Cathedral, which was wonderful. Loved seeing one of the original copies of the Magna Carta--very moving to think of its influence on our laws today. A surprise was the lovely Mompesson House. It is a wonderful peak into Victorian life all the way through the 1930s, when the last owner died at 96 We enjoyed a quiet, beautiful tea in the gardens. And our dinner at The Haunch of Venison, a restaurant in business since 1320, was fun..Good food!
Plenty of food choices. Very walker-friendly town. Market day was fun, as was the fete in the Bishop's garden. Easy to travel by rail to other interesting cities. Be sure to check out Oldbury tours for a great Stonehenge experience.
Salisbury Cathedral is breath-taking and well worth visiting. The opportunity to see the Magna Carta is one that I really enjoyed. We were only in town for one night, but I'm quite pleased that we made time to visit this town.
My husband and I just loved the bed-and-breakfast that we stayed in. Maggie took such good care of us and doted on our every need. We are so glad that we got the chance to visit the cathedral. Just to look at the Magna Carta -the real Magna Carta gave us goosebumps.Visiting Stonehenge was sort of a let down. It was much smaller then we expected and we were underwhelmed.
Many historic places to see. Two days is enough, including Stonehenge. The downtown is easy to reach and has a good variety of shops and restaurants but it pretty much closes down at 6 PM. Plan ahead if you need to do some shopping after visiting the cathedral or Stonehenge.

What wasn’t there to like. The staff are so polite and helpful. The hotel it’s self is beautiful and clean. We loved the atmosphere and extended our stay an extra day because it was such a relaxing place. The hotel restaurant had delicious food also. We also had afternoon tea and that was delicious as well. The best shower we have come across during our travels around the UK. Had a bit of pampering at the spa as well and the ladies were lovely and professional. Super handy to the city centre. Just an over all great hotel.

Bed is firm but comfortable. Easy walk into town. Excellent place to stay for a night or two. Manager is easy to contact and very helpful.

The description of the hotel is completely incorrect...a very old worn out and dingy room with zero air and along a busy street!
