The Old Bake House is a beautifully restored 4 bed/ 3 bath large Victorian home just seconds from the ocean. Step out of the front door with your coffee and be on the 3 mile beach (famous Slapton Sands) within seconds. It also overlooks a Site of Special Scientific Interest (Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve) -the views are stunning! The building is a Victorian property, with 3 floors. The bottom floor is home to Start Bay Studio, Wellness by the Sea, offering Yoga, Pilates and Massage!
Having lived overseas in many places around the world I have returned to my roots here in South Devon, UK. We love travel, yoga, wild swimming, surfing, paddleboarding, hiking and all things outdoors. Our beautiful architect designed 5 bed luxury home with stunning sea views is available for holiday rental during most school holiday, and we also have a newly restored Victorian 4 bed/ 3 bath house on the beach! We will be available throughout your stay for any questions!
Torcross is a beautiful village on the beach AND on a national nature reserve lake. It has an amazing historic pub serving sea food and more, a cafe, a yoga studio and a cafe/ restaurant. The bus to pretty towns of Kingsbridge and Dartmouth also pass through the village outside the house. The beach is huge, crystal clear water and is lifeguarded in the summer.
