The neighbourhood The property is located in Portloe, a charming village in the Roseland Peninsula Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s home to a selection of great pubs and restaurants, including The Ship Inn and The Lugger Hotel, perfect if you’re looking for a hearty meal or some fresh seafood. The nearest beach is Portloe Beach, just a few yards from Fable’s front door - it’s a small fishing harbour that’s perfect for dipping your toes in the water or going for a stroll up the headlands. You can follow the coastal path, left or right, for as far as you like. Better yet, it’s dog-friendly all year round too. If you’re looking for a seaside adventure, there are a handful of beaches within walking distance or a short car journey, including Carne Beach, Porthcurnick Beach and Towan Beach. If hiking is your activity of choice, you’re perfectly placed to explore the South West Coast Path which promises outstanding views. There are multiple routes to choose from, so the whole group can get involved. Getting around A car is recommended for travelling to the property and ease of getting around. Parking off-season is on the single road through the village, close to the house. There’s also a free village car park about 100 yards from the front door, which is best used during spring and summer.
