Really enjoyed our stay here, we had travelled to attend a nearby festival and the hotel was perfect for our needs. Really comfy bed, decent bathroom and lovely staff!

Perfectly located on the seafront, a four-minute walk from the railway station, this is a charming, quirky and well-appointed themed B&B. Our hosts, passionate historians of Lawrence of Arabia, could not have been more welcoming, or generous in sharing their knowledge. Our room was spotless, bed comfortable and shower strong. We enjoyed lounging in the palm-filled, Art Deco lounge bar upstairs, to a 1930s soundtrack, and the Arab-inspired breakfast option, featuring cheese baked with honey and zatar, was a revelation.
Just a 5-minute walk from Weymouth Beach, Best Western Hotel Rembrandt features a modern leisure club, traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Weymouth centre is just a mile away.

We booked very last minute so I wasn't surprised when the room wasn't completely ready when we arrived. We were in a very sweet room but , for 3 of us it was very small so im glad it was only one night. Sadly there was no hot water that evening for a shower, we had no soap in the dispenser, 1 towel & only 2 cups, plus there was rubbish still in the bathroom bin. Yes all these things we could have complained about at the time & I'm sure it would have been sorted, but we were exhausted. The breakfast was excellent & the staff were lovely.

Very disappointed with present day Weymouth.
Very disappointed with present day Weymouth. Have visited Weymouth regularly over a period of 70 years, except for the beach, the town centre is very run down. Many shops, bars, restaurants and other facilities shut down. The streets were filthy and strewn with rubbish. In desperate need of a makeover and some loving care.
Will not return in near future.

Your typical seaside resort at the beachfront- loads to to, amusements, land train, donkey rode, good restaurants! Beach is flat, shallow and shady- perfect for kiddies!!
Harbour area is more cosmopolitan and beautiful, upper market cafes and pubs… really stunning views.
The town itself is a bit rough, with closed down shops etc. But all the shops you’d need! A lot of tourtisty shops to keep you browsing happily!

We enjoyed a walk around Weymouth and the surrounding areas.
We enjoyed a walk around Weymouth and the surrounding areas.
We did the "White Horse" walk from Sutton Poyntz, just outside Weymouth and went on to see the stunning coastline at Durdle Door.
The Isle of Portland was also worth a visit. It was March and too blustery and wet to do a decent walk but the vies at Portland Bill and of Chessil Beach was well worth a visit.
30 minutes from Weymouth, we visited West Bay with another nice coastline and a very interesting Custom House in the village which had a wealth of memorabilia for sale.

We only stayed for 2 nights however found Weymouth to be a fairly nice seaside town that feels like it's 'on the up' with lots of boutique shops and cafes as well as some lovely places to eat. It's also a great place to base yourself for exploring Dorset with Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Ringstead bay to the East and the Jurassic coast to the West.

Lovely place, the harbour has been pedestrianised with really nice fish restaurants with views of the harbour while you dine outside. More fishing boats here now to service them. A great place to watch people & boats go by while you drink or eat
Beach is mostly sandy & great for dogs to exercise
Very friendly staff here, room was very comfortable with modern fittings, nice bathroom, good hot water shower, lots of tea & coffee plus snacks, a great TV that even had netflix. I would definitely stay again. Sadly parking can be a bit of a chore (no fault of hotel) but the hotel has a deal with a local carpark for 6 pound per night so not too bad, but may need to get this info in advance rather than after you arrive.
Super welcoming team and lovely accommodation. Look after us really well. Views over the seafront. Gave us a Permit F for the car so we could park outside on the seafront.
We arrived early, and our room was ready, and we were allowed them.
We were staying due to the Weymouth half marathon, and the race was on the Sunday check out at 10 am. The hotel very kindly allowed us back to shower after the race.
SuperStars.
Had an amazing stay at southville, the host was lovely. Couldn’t wish for a nicer owner, we actually missed breakfast one morning due to our fault and she cooked us breakfast 20 minutes after closing the kitchen.
Walking distance into the centre of weymouth, not worth driving. Brilliant parking around the back. Really lovely and this will be our first stop when we return to weymouth.

Very good breakfast with a large selections of e.g. fruit, cerials, eggs, toast, pancakes etc. All homemade by Trish
Short walk to the beach promenade and locatede very close to the town center.
Very helpful and friendly hosts (Mel & Trish). They took the time to help with parking and informations about Weymouth
The house/room was very fine. Everything was new og of good quality.
Great location. Couldn't believe how quiet it was, despite there being a pub/restaurant next door. Building was lovely and the room and bathroom were very well presented. Chickerell is a great jumping off point, for the centre of Weymouth + Portland, and the private, off road parking. is a fantastic bonus, given that many hotels/b&bs in Weymouth don't have access to this.
On arrival we had a warm welcome from Chris and Jackie, Our room was amazing, it was actually much better than the pictures online and with the bonus of a roof terrace.
Breakfast was fantastic lots of choice and served very quickly,
The whole place is immaculately clean, great location with parking on-site.
What a Fantastic place to stay whilst visiting Weymouth.
Clean and tidy room and ensuite. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, providing excellent local knowledge of Weymouth and its surrounding attractions. The breakfasts were super, freshly made to your order and so nice to have your food brought out to your table, unlike so many hotels and B&B's who now rely on get it yourself buffet style breakfasts.
The people we met, who owned the business, were very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were excellent. The room was small but had everything we needed. The hotels position on the front made seeing the best of Weymouth very easy and it is only 10 minutes, at most from the train station.
The hotel is perfectly located right on the seafront. You literally cross the road and you’re on the beach. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a view out over Weymouth Bay. There was a good choice of food at breakfast time and the staff we met were all very nice and friendly. The food at breakfast time was well prepared and tasty.
The hotel is a beautiful building, faded British seaside glamour at its very finest. The location is exceptional, on the seafront and out the back overlooking the lovely town of Weymouth, beautiful chimneypots and sun setting over greening gables. The staff was friendly and the room well cared for.
Everything, superb owners, breakfast, disabled parking, spacious comfortable room with the finest shower room we have ever encountered. In short the best hotel we have ever stayed in.owners went beyond to make us feel both welcome and special.
Location was very good and the Breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly other than that we thought it was overpriced for what it was. Everything in this hotel is dated and perhaps the standards was more akin to a Motel than a Hotel.
room larger than expected 1 double + 1 single a good breakfast served to you by waitresses who was very helpfull
hotel was by bridge in weymouth ideal for shops and quay think it should by at least 3 star not 2star had a good 5 days
Nice big airy comfortable apartment, lots of living space as well as great sized bedroom and shower room/wc. Great communication from the host, easy to follow access instructions, parking and good central location in Weymouth
They let me extend. Checked me in early. Good WiFi. Pretty quiet. Looks better than most hotels here. Room with view was a bit small. Room on day two was bigger.
