Everything , the location is idyllic and the property is gorgeous. I cannot think of anything that needs to be added or changed. The beds are super comfy anything you need is there including so many little extra touches that make this place an absolute gem. I can’t wait to return.

Briardene Cottage is a family owned cottage. We have created and developed holiday cottages for a number of years within Devon and Cornwall. Being resident in the locality since childhood, the cottage has been in the family and it holds many happy memories. The cottage has recently been renovated and refurbished to a very high standard. Both the position of the cottage in the beautiful village of Milton Combe and the locality of the surrounding moors and countryside really provide a fantastic ‘get away from it all’ holiday rental. Our focus is about making the cottage a real home from home experience with really thoughtful and stylish touches. We love being able to offer a variety of options in how the cottage can be used to include a few nights break, a week’s holiday, short term rental, mother and bride wedding packages and business stay overs whilst in the area. We are passionate about local food, local crafts and the use of local suppliers and services used to develop the property. We are passionate about people and welcome sharing our cottage with the love and flair in which it has been created. We will always try to adapt and accommodate any special guest requests.

Tucked away in a secluded valley on the edge of Dartmoor just a few miles from the charming market town of Tavistock. If you need time to stop the clock and recharge the batteries, take a step back from the hustle of daily life and routine - then Briardene offers just that. You have arrived at your haven of peace and tranquility... Milton Combe is small hamlet with an excellent country pub - The Who’d have thought it. Buckland Abbey (home of Sir Francis Drake), Lopwell Dam all in walking distance, with Dartmoor, Tavistock and the Drakes cycle trail all very close. Guests are well positioned to explore both counties of Devon and Cornwall with the stunning coastline north and south within half an hour of the cottage. This 2 bedroom quintessentially English Holiday Cottage has been lovingly refurbished to the highest standards and hosts beamed ceilings, deep window sills, inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, slate floors, modern kitchen, Scandinavian log cabin, jacuzzi (by arrangement only) and garden bordered by a stream.
