Burnside Cottages are in the center of the historic and scenic town of Fettercairn. This 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment is accessed up one story of an external stair case. Central heating is supplied by an electric boiler that is controlled by the wall mounted thermostat. Has linked heat and smoke alarms and free is WIFI for guests to use. Once inside you are met with a fresh and carpeted hall way which has doorways to : Entrance Hall With coat hooks Shower room Large shower unit , wash hand basin, toilet, washing machine and drying rail. First aid. Kitchen Fully equipped including Oven with hob, Fridge freezer, Microwave, kettle , toaster, food mixer ,Various pans, plates, cups and glasses, Table and chairs Living Room Fresh and airy with lovely view from Window. Carpet flooring ,Corner suite , coffee table and nest, Flat screen smart TV. Ornamental fire place (Not for use) Twin Bedroom Bright and lovely view from window 2x Single beds with bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and chair 1 x cupboard containing cleaning equipment such as vacuum,broom, mop and bucket. Double Bedroom Ample size bedroom with view to shared drying green and Apartments D deck and summer house area of garden.
Fettercairn boosts one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and of course the much-photographed Royal Arch. Only a few miles from the Cairn of Mount, Laurencekirk and Edzell. Locally activities include hiking, the” blue door walk” to some more longer and challenging hikes. Cycling in the peaceful country roads or for the more energetic try the Cairn o Mount. Fishing, in the Nearby fresh waters of the North Esk or grouse or pheasant shooting (for fishing and shooting , costs and permits can be sourced from local estates such of Fasque, Fettercairn and Gannochy). Within a short car ride are number of fantastic golf clubs and courses such as Edzell, Brechin, Montrose, Auchenblae and Letham Grange
