This is a wonderful place! It's beautifully quiet and the apartment is large, modern, and lovely. House is set in pasture land and the coast is within short walking distance. It's convenient to Mullhead and to the south islands, St. Margaret's Hope, the Churchill Defenses. Actually, with the size of Orkney Mainland it's convenient to everything. The owners are very pleasant and helpful and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We visited Orkney for my husband's birthday trip and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. It was spotless, spacious, very comfortable and had absolutely everything we could possibly have needed for our stay (we especially enjoyed the Orkney fudge and Prosecco :) ) The hosts are lovely and very helpful - Jack suggested places to visit and it was a pleasure to chat to him about Orkney. He even posted on a birthday card that had been delayed and arrived after we had already left. The bed is one of comfiest I've come across and with that and the peace and quiet, we slept amazingly well. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting these wonderful islands.

Jack and his wife are lovely hosts. They gave us a lot of recommendations about Orkney and were always avaliable via WhatsApp. The location is excellent because it's only a 15-minute drive from Kirkwall. It was also very quiet, so we slept well. The house is very spacious and well-equipped. You can cook pretty much anything, as they have various utensils in the kitchen. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We liked everything about this accommodation, excellent central location, 12 minutes fro Kirkwall and 40 minutes from Stromness, so a great base for exploring the Island. The accommodation is very spacious and the best equipped self catering cottage we have stayed in. The welcoming extras were amazing, tablet, shortbread, Prosecco and fresh flowers. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you need, all you need to bring is your food. Good sized bathroom with great shower and lovely toiletries. Spacious bedroom with really comfy bed, we had a great night’s sleep every night. Jack (the owner) was an excellent host, really welcoming and had lost of local knowledge and information. I can’t rate this property highly enough, we had an amazing break and will definitely be back.

Er hat uns auch auf seiner Farm und den Viehweiden herumgeführt, und wir haben uns sehr nett unterhalten. Wir waren uns auf Anhieb sympatisch. Die Wohnlage ist sehr ruhig.
