Breakfast was so tasty. I would recommend the scrambled eggs and toast any time. I can't even eat the bread once I came back home. It doesn't taste as good. I would recommend making a reservation for dinner also. The food was fresh and well cooked. And don't forget to order the fried cheese. 🤤

Lilly's Lodges Orkney Butterfly Lodge, hotel in Birsay

Featuring garden views, Lilly's Lodges Orkney Butterfly Lodge has accommodations with a balcony and an electric tea pot, around 6.4 miles from Standing Stones of Stenness.

The cottages were perfect, and a great value for a family of four, we didn’t even feel too cramped, because we really love the concept of tiny living. :-) The location was awesome, views of water in front of you and lush green hills dotted with sheep behind. I will say, though, I was a little nervous as we drove up to the place on rough roads in the middle of nowhere, but it was like a paradise, really!
