This was a great hotel that provided an excellent starting off point for our all day adventures on Orkney. It is right by the Ferry for easy access. The room was clean, there was an extra alcove for a second bed for our daughter, and the breakfast was great. The room was over a bar which was a little noisy on Saturday night but not excessive and honestly we were so tired it wasn’t a problem.

It was a good location in town and close to the bus and Ferry. We loved the fact it is old and well decorated. Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful room in a beautiful setting. Outstanding shower, comfortable bed, all the amenities you’d want. While the hosts said they don’t provide breakfast, they sure made up for it by setting up a breakfast area with fresh fruits, milk and dried cereals, breads and croissants, fresh eggs and an electric egg cooker so you could make your own. The view from the room was exceptional and the hosts were lovely.
