Amazing and interesting place! It used to be a pub, so there's a bar in the living room. Host provided peat charcoal to burn in the little fireplace. Large "commercial" kitchen that used to support the pub, so don't expect a stylish residential kitchen. That said, there are two refrigerators and lots of prep space. Bathroom is very minimal, but my grown daughters LOVED staying here with the neighbor's animals straying into our yard, the dart board in the living room, and the beautiful rustic surroundings outside of the city. Everyone got their own bed, and there was lots of room to spread out for a family of 5. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a taste of local color (**Note: if you're looking for a polished hotel or professional bed and breakfast, this is not the place.**)

Our experience was a great one. From the time we checked in till we left, the staff and facilities were of the highest standard. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Lots of choice and attentive staff. The evening restaurant was another nice meal.

Breakfast was great. Location was coinvent to shopping and local restaurants. Parking was a little hard. Public car park nearby, but had to get free ticket every hour till 5PM, then free all night. Out the next morning. Small town and able to get our clothes washed in a nearby laundromat.

The room was clean. The best part was a window that opened to a view of a neighbor's garden and white roses. And the window opened so I could have fresh air. It was quiet, I couldn't hear the street noise. There was a fridge that I could store food. It was close to the middle of the city. I liked it better after I adjusted to its newness and no staff on site. The best part was my window with a table and chair near it.
