Business owner, home owner, passionate about travel and beautifully designed objects. Favourite travel destinations include New York City, Barcelona, Tarifa, Bangkok, LA and London. My wish-list destinations in the coming 12 months include Valencia, Hua Hin and Miami. My past life was as a travel journalist, so I have been very lucky to travel to some amazing places. Yellow Door, our completely newly-refurbished, bright and colourful, two bedroom flat sits at the base of a former Edwardian hotel on Cliftonville’s seafront. Just steps away from the iconic Walpole Bay bathing pool and within walking distance of Margate’s historic centre and its attractions such as Turner Contemporary, Dreamland and the Old Town.

Neighborhood info

Seafront location with friendly neighbours on a quiet one-way street overlooking the sea. Walk to Margate Old Town in 15-20 minutes. The buzzy Northdown Road is 5 minutes away. The beautiful beaches and sand dunes of Botany Bay are 15 minutes away. Walpole Bay's bathing pool, popular with wild swimmers, is at the bottom of our cliff.
