This place was exceptional value for money and the perfect stop over for a night as we was on a family road trip, two adults, two kids and our little dog, yes it was dog friendly, facilities were great, breakfast excellent, and a Starbucks on site!! We couldn't believe our luck and if ever we're passing and needed to stop over we wouldn't look anywhere else, all staff other than one was excellent, the only down side was the guy who was looking after the pool, think he thought he was guarding an embassy from attack rather than keeping an eye on people in a pool!!
On the A619, just off junction 30 of the M1 motorway, the hotel makes a great base from which to visit the Peak District, Sheffield and Nottinghamshire, with free parking and comfortable en suite...
All the Staff and food quality were excellent.
Upgraded to a suite at a cost of £178 Per night. Incl breakfast.
Room was in need of redecorating , floor needed hoovering as covered in glitter. Coffee machine wouldn’t work. General cleanliness of room was very poor. Roman blinds had dropped . No hot water for shower or wash at 5 pm.
Bed mattress topper was lumpy. No means of drying towels in bathroom. Television came on by itself at Midnight at really high volume !
Would have been disappointed at half the price!
Needless to say we will not be returning.

Prior to staying, I experienced irritating difficulty getting through on the phone to talk to a person on Reception. I seemed forced to use the booking sites, which did not allow you to book the 2 night leisure break deal on the hotel website which included dinner on the 1st night stay and breakfast for the other 2 days. I seemed to continuously go in a loop and the only option was to leave a message and my call was not returned! This happened over 2 days. You MUST have an accessible personal contact for a customer facing Service such as a hotel, especially if it is to make use of money saving deals for guests. It certainly would have saved our party some money.
However, aside from small issues, I have very fond memories of Mosborough Hall - I spent my honeymoon night there in 1986. Also, the Hotel hosted a faultless wake for a dear family member which was the reason for the our visit from Cornwall. Very happy overall.

Didn’t really have time to go into Mosborough in the evening , we walked in briefly during the day but not much really happening.
I was told by a friend that the vine Indian was very good but unfortunately didn’t get time to try.

Great location for anyone going to the snooker academy -...
Great location for anyone going to the snooker academy - free parking onsite, and snooker academy is ten minutes drive. Close to local pubs (we spent some time in the British Oak just down the road) - a lot of choice on this one - the Mosbrook Inn, British Oak, George and Dragon and more all close by, so if the Mosboroughs menu is not to your taste, there will be something that will be.
We didn't eat at the mosborough for the simple reason we wanted to go explore as we were only staying one night - however the menu did look very nice.
We came back for a drink at the bar - which was really well presented and modern - a nice touch as the main building itself is a stateley looking mansion , but the modernization of the conservatory like building the Mosbough has added for the bar area doesn't take away from this - yet adds to it.
Rooms comfortable and warm - all amenities included and free wifi.
My only criticism is the noise proofing of rooms - we could hear light switches and footsteps aswell as a toilet flushing, however, no talking or noise - so either the guests were very quiet, or there really is a ghost ;)
Either way, lovely experience and stay and it wouldnt put us off staying again!
The most excellent communication and service 👌
Everything was clean
I been before in hotels with 5 stars but at Nancy’s Cabin is other level
They are so friendly and i had amazing night
Thank you for making me feel so relaxed
Fabulously spacious and comfortable bed. I often sleep badly in hotel beds but I slept like a log both nights. The hotel was quiet (in between Christmas and New Year) but service was excellent.
lovely hotel and grounds, bar & restaurant was lovely really friendly staff would definitely go there again we both felt so relaxed and chilled, wished we could if stayed another night.
The hotel was very good and comfy. It had good facilities. The restaurant menu was expensive and had limited variety. The breakfast was good but limited. Overall a nice stay.
