Wells-next-the-Sea is a charming, traditional seaside town with sandy beaches protected by a pinewood forest. ​Walk out the door and you are in the heart of Wells, where everything you need to make your holiday complete is just a short walk away - great gastro pubs, seafood restaurants, cafes, shops, the famous quay where you can partake in 'crabbing' and enjoy some of the best fish and chips around. The Wells Beach Bus offers a service connecting the town and the beach – operating a route from the football club car park to the roundabout at the beach end of Beach Road. The bus runs from April through to October each year. From the quay you can join the North Norfolk Coastal Path and take a leisurely stroll to Wells beach with its wonderful array of colourful beach huts, stopping at the Beach Cafe on the way.
