This hotel has great potential which it fails to achieve. It is in need of a refresh and could benefit from a clear out of some of the mismatched furniture and faded prints on the walls.
The staff were very mixed ranging from extremely helpful to totally ignoring you. I was charged £14 for a gin and tonic one night and £11.60 the following night for an identical drink. However happy hour did have 2 for 1.
Breakfast was meagre and variable in quality. There was only one slice of burnt toast each despite asking for more.
Located in the center of King’s Lynn, 15 minutes’ drive from Sandringham, Stuart House Hotel offers free parking and a traditional bar. There is also a pretty garden and popular restaurant.
In a grand Edwardian building, The Grange Hotel is just 5 minutes’ drive from Kings Lynn center. Located in South Wootton, the hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi and cooked breakfasts.

I loved everything!
The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They have loads of knowledge about the area and, make a great breakfast with a lot of options!
The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy! I slept like a baby each night and felt right at home.
I am looking forward to visiting again!

Location was a short walk to the town centre, which suited us fine.
Set in 10 acres of mature parkland, the site is located on the edge of the village of North Runcton, 1.5 miles from the Hardwick roundabout where the A47, A10, A149 and A17 meet.

The self guided tour of the maritime history, superb buildings and a walk to "The Walks" beautiful open park with the band playing on the Sunday afternoon, brilliant atmosphere. The shopping area is really good and the pubs and restaurants especially the WENNS and the Crown and Mitre we loved.

A most intersting town with remarkable surviving ancient buildings and outstandingly good mueums. Takes a good three days to do it any sort of justice.
Good range of eating places covering all price ranges. Good Wetherspoons!
Worth a trip on the foot ferry across the river with very good photo opportunities. Also, a range of interesing churches.
We only mananed to do one day of the annual music featival and will return to hear more.

King's Lynn is something of a Jekyll and Hyde' town.
King's Lynn is something of a Jekyll and Hyde' town. Its historic buildings and districts are superb and match anything else in England. It has some very good places to eat and drink.
However, its newer buildings, including the shopping centre are 'nondescript' (I am being kind here).
But it is a town that is well worth visiting.

Great place with some fantastic historic buildings to explore, area generally flat so easy to get around. Be aware that some of the historic areas are cobbled streets and surfaces very uneven if you have any mobility issues.

Compact town centre, Corn Exchange was a very good venue, we also went to the old cinema, which was worth it just for the stained glass. Would consider bringing a bike next time, very good and easy walking out towards Sandringham which would have been easy to cycle on

The older part of Kings Lynn down by the river is well worth a visit. Its full of historic buildings and alleyways. Fooderies are plentiful and offer varied cuisines. Particularly good is the ‘Tipsy Teapot’ with its Tex-Mex style menu. Prices are reasonable.
Regrettably it rained for most of our stay which meant we were unable to visit some of the places we wanted to. Not Kings Lynn's fault. We’ll be back!
The hotel was above expectations - as it was one of very few places left with vacancies in West Norfolk. Staff went out of their way to help and showed some flexibility, the room was really good with everything you need and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was good (though always prefer if it's included in the price, it was still reasonable). Dinner choices were limited basically to bar fare and Kings Lynn generally has a limited offer for fine dining. But it was fine and we were both tired and hungry after our walking.
The property It is located in a beautiful location, close to the city center and with a beautiful view. The property and building are well kept and in excellent conditions; the hotel facilities are great and our room was an absolute delight. Breakfast was excellent and the personnel was cordial, helpful and available. My wife and daughter loved the stay as well and we can only recommend it, if you are visiting Kings Lynn. By the way, what a graceful, lovely town: worth a trip.
Absolutely fab hotel in a lovely part of Kings Lynn, the lady on reception was a delight and really helpful when we were struggling to find suitable parking for our 2 night stay. Would not hesitate to book again if back in the area. The beer garden was huge and lovely in the sunshine. And it being a Wetherspoons was great...food and drink on tap :-)
Central location, loads of character and a car park at back. The hotel outside of the rooms has been done to a very high standard with lovely seating areas and a superb bar. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Kings Lynn.
