Location was a short walk to the town centre, which suited us fine.
A good place to stop overnight. The historic centre was lovely as was the Minster. Felt safe to walk around. High street a few chains and independent shops. A few restaurants and pubs. Central to lots of beautiful villages, wool churches and Nelsons birth place.

Quite a busy town. Plenty to see and do.
Quite a busy town. Plenty to see and do. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Waterfront and Minster worth a visit. Just a short drive to the coast.I
The Lodge is situated a short walk, through the park to the town centre.
We ate at a lovely coffee shop in the town which is mostly pedestrianised.

King's Lynne s primarily a port so don't expect too much.
King's Lynne s primarily a port so don't expect too much. The place to go is the quayside where the customs house can be found. Also the Hanseatic League houses are worth a look. The ancient St Margaret's church is nearby as are some very nice tea rooms. Stray too far and you will come across the less desirable parts of the town that emphasise that it is still very much a working port.

Kings Lynn has more than enough history to warrant a return visit for us. The Minster is well worth a visit but so to is the Museum and all its exhibits. The local gaol offers a lot of history too. A lot of old buildings and the old port areas are worth time.
all in all thoroughly enjoyed our time these '

The self guided tour of the maritime history, superb buildings and a walk to "The Walks" beautiful open park with the band playing on the Sunday afternoon, brilliant atmosphere. The shopping area is really good and the pubs and restaurants especially the WENNS and the Crown and Mitre we loved.

A most intersting town with remarkable surviving ancient buildings and outstandingly good mueums. Takes a good three days to do it any sort of justice.
Good range of eating places covering all price ranges. Good Wetherspoons!
Worth a trip on the foot ferry across the river with very good photo opportunities. Also, a range of interesing churches.
We only mananed to do one day of the annual music featival and will return to hear more.

Beautiful apartment, just as described, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and lovely views from the windows. Excellent location near the waterfront in the beautiful old town, with historic buildings, shops and a wide range of eateries just a short distance away, in all directions. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We loved our first visit to Kings Lynn and our stay at The Penthouse enhanced the whole visit. A two night stay was a lovely taster, but we need to return to explore further!
Lots of space in the room- not cramped, clean, friendy staff. Christmas decorations in the entrance in the lead up to the holidays, was a lovely touch. Nice art on the wall. Hotel was well placed to get to places we needed to go, and watching rabbits in the field next door was adorable. Visited the Christmas Market in Kings lynn as well as the family birthday party we needed to get to in the area.
Made to feel very welcome. Was only staying one night on a work trip but had a great sleep and a chance to look around Kings Lynn which was only 10 mins away by car. The host Clive was very good and we had a good chat about different things. Clive and his partner Lina made me feel at home. Would definitely stay again if in the area on another works trip.
