Apartment 1, St Mary’s Rooms is a ground floor, newly renovated apartment within a period chapel conversion with it's own private access. A perfect blend of character and modern facilities that’ll allow you to relax whilst enjoying the historic market town of Newark-on-Trent which is only a few minute’s walk from your front door.
We live close by so can be available if needed
The apartment is ideally situated to explore beautiful Newark with plenty to see and do with many independent retailers, cafes, pubs and restaurants based around the traditional market square. Historic attractions include Newark Castle, National Civil War Museum, Governor's House, Church of St Mary Magdalene in addition riverside walks and boat trips. If culture is your thing it is perfect for The Palace Theatre or cinema visits. Newark Showground is nearby which regularly hosts international antiques fairs and other events. Newark is well served by the two train lines one the East Coast Mainline (London to Edinburgh) and the East Midlands service (Lincoln to Nottingham). The apartment is a short walk from either train station and the bus station.
