A charming cottage overlooking a babbling, nature-rich brook. Full of character, this peaceful cottage boasts a cosy living room complete with woodburner, underfloor heating and exposed beams, a fabulous kitchen and a stylish bathroom. The cottage is in a superb location with top-class restaurants, the magnificent Chatsworth Estate and truly stunning local walks right on the doorstep. Bikes can be stored in the rear yard making this cottage an ideal base for foodies, cyclists and walkers alike. I hope the photos and summary give a nice flavour of what to expect, but just an additional mention about the stairs: we have a double hand rail but they are a little steep and perhaps a bit unnerving at first. Most soon adapt, but they aren't suitable for the elderly and infirm. Please also note that the property is on 3 floors, with the twin room on the top floor. We also ask that dogs stay downstairs, please, as it can be a challenge to get the hairs off the bedding. Many thanks!

Baslow is a charming village on the edge of the Peak District. Neighbouring the Chatsworth Estate and many of the stunning Edges, opulence and awe are right on your doorstep. Boasting some of the finest pubs and restaurants in the whole of the Peaks, Baslow is an ideal getaway for foodies. Nestled right in the centre of the village is a free-to-use fantastic sports field and children's adventure playground welcoming locals and visitors alike.
