Our home is ideally situated for couples or solo travellers visiting locally. This city centre 1-bedroom flat with private south-facing sunny patio is in a quiet street with a 10 minute walking distance of the harbour, shops, theatre, cinemas, museum and restaurants. A handbook has been prepared for guests with brochures of things to do locally. From the city centre the best way to arrive is via North Hill, Armada St then Mount St. There is limited parking on site and city restrictions apply. There is also a 24-hour parking facility 5 minutes away. We hope you will enjoy your stay in Plymouth, the South West's Ocean City.
Hello from Gerrit (Dutch) and Sandie (English)! We live in the Nederlands and in Plymouth because, like you, we love to travel. Having a comfortable place to stay while exploring an area is so important. We offer you a peaceful place to relax in Devon, close to all the things the city has to share. Within a half hour journey is an area of outstanding beauty, Dartmoor National Park. There is so much to see and do, we would be happy to share our knowledge of the area with you.
Plymouth is famously the home of the National Marine Aquarium, the old Barbican, Theatre Royal, and Plymouth Hoe. Most famous are the Plymouth Steps is where the pilgrim fathers set off for America 400 years ago. Everything is within walking distance from the flat. Nearby are shops, great restaurants, markets, the harbour and old fashioned pubs. Close by are buses, trains and ferries, sports centres, golf, canoe and bike hire to help you explore the many beaches, Tamar and Plym valleys and Dartmoor National Park.
