Very easy to collect the keys from the restaurant below the room. The member of staff took us up to the room and was very pleasant. The room was in a great location within a very short distance to the centre of town just behind the main high street. Fantastic view from the outside space. Room was very large, bed was comfortable, fridge was very useful for our drinks. Lots of tea, coffee, milk sachets. Shower was good. Fantastic location just 2 minutes walk to all the shops, pubs and market. Public car park was a couple minutes walk away.

Henwick House B&B is situated approximately 15 to 20 minutes' walk from the town on a gentle slope. There is ample parking and the B&B is a beautiful home with spacious, clean and well-decorated bedrooms and bathrooms - as well as public areas- the dining room, hall and landing and conservatory. We were offered the one bedroomed apartment which is exceptionally well laid out and has everything two people need for a short to medium stay. It has a lovely bright and airy bedroom, a well appointed bathroom with shower. The kitchenette and lounge with comfy sofa has plenty of lighting and large, screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped - even a mini dishwasher! We had a wonderful breakfast - cooked to order - and there was plenty of fruit, yoghurt and cereals to choose from. We loved our stay there and would choose the B&B again and recommend to friends and family visiting the area.

It has rightly got a reputation for foodies, there were plenty of options and markets most days selling all kinds of produce. It's quite hilly in places so need to take that into account. Good transport links to Shrewsbury, Hereford and beyond. Lovely small town friendly feel to all the areas we visited.

Lovely town with gorgeous walks along the river.
Lovely town with gorgeous walks along the river. Plenty of cafes and a lovely market to wander. Castle was lovely although I feel a £9 entrance fee is steep for what it offers. The beautiful church in town was the highlight of places visited with its stained glass and beautiful monuments, plus a lovely cafe too.
Bar & Restaurant at the Charlton Arms Inn are highly recommended with great staff, wine, food and ambiance.
The snow capped hills and rapid rivers give this gorgeous town an amazing backdrop and constant relaxing sound of the fast running river, just perfect.
We can’t wait to visit again in the summer.

This was our first visit to Ludlow and we really enjoyed it.
This was our first visit to Ludlow and we really enjoyed it. We only stayed three nights and could have happily spent few more there to take in the countryside and walks etc as it was we enjoyed the town. A visit to the |Castle is well worth it as is a visit to St Laurence Church. We did the tower there too which was worth the £5 cost. Amazing views from the top and to see the bell ringing room and clock mechanism were great. 200 steps approximately so not for the very unfit or those with a health condition. The town itself is a great mixture of more modern and ancient architecture and it is very pretty and interesting. There are many and varied independent retailers in town as well as many antique shops to browse in and to buy local produce. The Ludlow Brewery deserves a special mention for its ethos, on site brewing, its brewery tours and the warm, friendly atmosphere. Also visit for live events. We enjoyed a great night there at the Root and Blues, resident Blue Moon band and guests Rhythm Machine. What an excellent night with great atmosphere, together with brewed on the premises, good price beers. There is so many places to choose to wine and dine too.

Ludlow is a wonderful market town with lovely walks and steeped in history. There are many pubs, most of them do food and there are lots of little eateries so you are spoilt for choice. The market has a variety of different things from liquorice to hats. The pubs are excellent and very friendly with most allowing dogs in the bar areas.

Off season visit in late January for 2 days.
Charlton Arms ideal place to stay being within walking distance of Ludlow, just walk across the old bridge. Condensed town centre with beautiful buildings, church and castle steeped in history. Almost every building around the castle historically “blue plaqued”. Disappointed in dining available as every restaurant closed Sundays and Mondays, one of the main reasons for my visit
Location brilliant for access to everything you need in Ludlow. Full English breakfast was amazing plentiful and really tasty. Lots of other choice too including cereals, fruit, toast, jams and marmalade. Couldn’t fault the service. Rooms a little on the small size however what more do you want other than to get your head down at the end of the night. Bed really comfortable. Great choice of drinks from larger to ales, wines and spirits. Hotelier’s were amazing lovely stay fantastic conversation will definitely be back.
Arrived at this beautiful hotel slightly earlier than planned to be met with friendly staff. We were checked in and given our room key so we could return later at our leisure as room wasn't yet available. Room 8 is fabulous.. The bar area, Ludlow Kitchen next door are all lovely. Great breakfast.!!.its a great little complex next door to the Ludlow golf course and Ludlow Race course !! We were lucky enough to visit a Classic Car show in the grounds. Highly recommend, a great hotel on the A49.
Dinham Hall Hotel was in an excellent location for exploring the sights of Ludlow, located directly apposite the castle, a few minutes walk down to the river, 2 minutes walk to market and 5 minutes walk to shopping centre, pubs, restaurants. Free car parking onsite, very friendly staff and breakfast was delicious with range of cold and hot options. Room was small but it was clean and had all the essential with good working shower and bath. I will definitely stop again when I go back to Ludlow.
The breakfast was bespoke and out of this world with incredible thought and care taken towards our meal preferences. Amazing outlook towards a vegan diet and completely accomodating towards that end too
If you want great conversation over breakfast and a wonderfully mannered hostess then i can highly recommend the green dragon of ludlow.
Highly and happily recommend multiple nights.
The bed is wonderfully comfortable.
Absolutely loved our stay and will be repeating our visit again.
What a fabulous little hotel, from arrival to departure we could not fault it, a small beautifully formed hotel , quiet location but within easy walking into Ludlow. Breakfast was superb well presented and plenty of choice, we ate al fresco one evening with just the sound of the birds for company. Bistro meals again beautiful, desserts outstanding. Staff were friendly but professional. Large comfy bed well appointed room lovely bathroom couldn't fault it .
Location amazing as I travel to Ludlow weekly and stay over. I've stayed in many places, Hotels and Apartments in Ludlow, and The Nest is one that I have been back to on a number of occasions.......whens its not booked! Its means that I have all the local facilities on the doorstep, and is in easy reach for my office. The chocolate is a nice touch by the way!
Hotel had fantastic location few min walk into Ludlow with good parking. The restaurant and bar areas very nice and the roof bar had a lovely view over the river which was a highlight of our stay. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our evening meal especially my crab risotto which was delicious. The room was small but was nicely decorated.
The owners were very welcoming and friendly
Ray asked at breakfast about how our evening went the night before and remembered where we were eating.
Our room had its own sitting room which was lovely.
The room had lovely views across Ludlow.
The hotel was situated about 10 mins from town which was ideal
Very enjoyable experience
Location was excellent - right in the heart of Ludlow
Comfortable bed
Lots of historic character in the main hotel
The shower was acceptable
The cafetiere coffee was better than the usual instant variety though let down by the choice of UHT milk - why not offer fresh milk?
Lovely character property right at the heart of Ludlow with all the main shops, market and Castle just a stone's throw . Staff were pleasant and helpful. The environment and room are excellent, as is the pub side of things - Breakfast was lovely.
This hotel is in a fabulous location for seeing Ludlow. The staff were very friendly. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. There was a good choice at breakfast. I can recommend the Church Inn.
The perfect hotel to discover Ludlow from. Charming and spacious room in a renovated Tudor-style building. Clean and quiet. No staff on site, but the offsite manager and cleaners were all wonderful.
Excellent location. Quirky hotel, very historical, nice features.
We had a free room upgrade. Bathroom very modern, clean and spacious.
Mini fridge with glasses in, and free cans of water.
Really nice property, very clean and welcoming, everything you need and more! Easy walk from the train station, in the heart of Lovely Ludlow!
Love living in the pub 👍🏻😃
