A charming wee blue house in a picture postcard setting under the iconic viaduct, with river views, private parking and just a one minute's walk to the beach. This beautiful terraced house - brand new to the holiday market after a complete refurbishment - offers a fresh, contemporary and decidedly nautical home to enjoy during your seaside holiday. It is nestled away in the incredibly picturesque village of Lower Largo which is a jewel in the crown on the spectacular East Neuk of Fife coastline. The house comprises a spacious bedroom downstairs with plentiful storage king size bed with fine Egyptian cotton bed linen. You will also find the shower-room downstairs – which has a jaunty and tropical feel. Going up the panelled stair, you will come to the bright lounge which has pretty views and has furnishings inspired by its seaside setting. There is a dining area for two, complete with a porthole, feature fire and a wall mounted smart TV so you can log into your favourite subscription channels. The adjoining contemporary kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a lovely private front and back garden - both real sun-traps!
My name is Gillian and I'm just a couple of minutes away from this lovely little house which has just been completely refurbished by myself (an interior designer) and my handy builder husband, Ewen. We have created this holiday home for people like us - couples who want to stay in luxury on their holidays, in a great location but without the price tag to match. We pride ourselves on always striving for very high standards, both in terms of the accommodation we offer and our service to guests. We offer a keybox service so you can check in at your convenience but we're usually only minutes away if you need us and allows contactable.
If you do fancy being more active, Lower Largo is located near the beginning of the ‘East Neuk’ coastal walk. Head straight out and onto the coastal path and take in everything from historic towers and old salt mines en route to the neighbouring villages on the coastal path including Elie, St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther, Crail and St Andrews – all known for their colourful houses and fishing boats, as well as craft shops, stunning beaches, sailing and other water-based activities and plentiful dining options. The Wee Blue House has its own dedicated parking place at the back of the building - just look for the monoblock parking spot and then you can enter the house via the back door. If you don't have your own transport, don't worry...there's a bus stop right at the end of the road (Lundin Links, Largo Road) which will take you to Elie and all the other lovely coastal villages in just a matter of minutes.
