Situated in the peaceful village of Benington, a particularly attractive part of the Hertfordshire countryside. We welcome both leisure and business travellers to our luxury Bed and Breakfast. Although the location is rural, it is conveniently located for travel by road, rail or air. The bed and breakfast accommodation we provide is spacious and luxurious, with many thoughtful extras. This tranquil, rural setting has numerous footpaths and bridleways, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate the countryside and its wildlife.
It’s been our privilege to offer hospitality to our many guests here at Cobblestones over the last 12 yrs, and you are assured of a very warm welcome if booking with us. Whether you are working in the area for a few weeks or months, visiting friends, enjoying a recreational break, or guests at one of our many local weddings here and in neighbouring villages, we have accommodation that will suit your requirements. Most often guests message us when booking or before their arrival to discuss their needs, confirm arrival times etc so please do contact us if we can help with your arrangements. Hertfordshire has a fine selection of historic houses, museums and other tourist attractions, along with modern recreation and leisure facilities. Many attractions, including Hatfield House, Knebworth House, and the historic city of Cambridge are available. Picturesque woodland, river valleys, and open farmland make up a beautiful and varied landscape. The county has more than 1,800 miles (3,000 km) of public paths and rights of way, one of which is very close to Cobblestones linking to the extensive network within Benington. The Hertfordshire Way is a circular 166 mile trail through this green and beautiful county. The whole route is waymarked at every road crossing and away from the roads there are distinctive waymarking discs to help the walker. Over 97% of the route is on public rights of way on which you have a legal right to walk and the rest is on permissive paths. The county also has a number of designated cycle paths. For the more adventurous the county’s canals, rivers and lakes provide opportunities for a number of water sports such as sailing and canoeing as well as the more gentle boat cruises that depart from various points through Hertfordshire.
