Great location, close to a lot of nice places to visit in the area. Felt very secluded although we knew people were around us. The bed was amazingly comfortable!

The Herons Nest is our latest bespoke addition to The Galloway Steading. Crafted in Galloway forest timber, stunning views and a fully enclosed pet* friendly garden, this pod is perfect for getaways with family, friends, parents, siblings or colleagues. A hot tub and fire pit ensure you can fully enjoy beautiful views and gorgeous black skies at night. With a fully equipped kitchen and shower room, 2 single beds and a sofa-bed we're hoping this is the perfect base for your adventures. *ten pounds per pet applies on arrival"
